  1. I can't see them online anywhere. They must be either quite local or very obscure. I'd love to hear some stuff of theirs, but I haven't got any downloading software. Aw well.

Thanks for the shoutout. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

  2. Ah, classic rock's the best. Personally, I love listening to The Doors... live versions of their classic songs are just filled with so much energy...

Jose Feliciano just does not come close.

Me, I listen to everything whenever I can. I must just have lots of mood swings...

  3. A friend of mine compiles these on one of his websites. I can't decide some of these whether they're cool or stupid... Some of my favourites:

    Jehovah's Waitresses

    The Buggles

    Busta Rhymes (but with what...)

    The B*tthole Surfers

    My Dog Has Hitler's Brain

    And many more...

  4. I should really say...

I'm not so much of a metal fan, to be honest. More of a music fan. If I'm listening to Metal, then I become interested in it, doing whatever... or whatever.

I can't see the fans calling KoRn gothic... perhaps Manson I can understand. So far as my primitive mind goes, Gothic refers to architecture. >grin< Don't worry, I'm not that daft...

Yeah, in our record shop, the one nearest, there are aisles and aisles of Metal stuff, in Black, Death, and Foreign categories, including a section for Nu. Terrible stuff from the latter... loads of kids flockin' around the aisles.

    All the best

    Wonderful me

  5. As far as I can ascertain, this is Death Metal stuff, am I right? I've seen a couple Lacuna records in the metal sections of CD shops and such...

I've heard that they are indeed pretty good...

Yeah, most (if not all) their lyrics can be found on Darklyrics... and all except Un Fantasma Tra Noi are English... (I believe that's an instrumental anyway...)

    Endorsement from here too >thumb<

  6. For me personally, music has never been better. Radio play of some stuff that I don't like means that I can stick my (whispers) Beach Boys (normal tone) CD on repeat non-stop for ten hours and never get bored.

Seriously though. I like to think that I have a broad taste in music. When I say broad, I mean broad. Not like the difference between The Smashing Pumpkins and Zwan, to name just two. I can and have listened to Bon Jovi and Westlife at near enough the same time.

Over the three or four or so years that I have been buying music, I have bought, borrowed, and re-recorded over 3000 CD's. Most of which I still like, most of which were relatively cheap. Most of which still now are. I refuse to pay too much for music. I have felt the same since Napster went down. £20 is my absolute limit for a double CD, £40 for a four CD box-set. n>4 CD box sets whereby n = number of CD's within package, such as that (n=6) released by The Beach Boys I decide upon the merits of the individual artist(s).

    Anyway, back on topic...

A lot of CD's which never made the chart in Britain (I define chart as top 40 are now very hard to come across. Mainly they are techno CD's which I see now and again in bargain bins. And hey, it's music, it's cheap, why not share the love?

    That's me done for now...
