    I'll be working the same job I have now, with defined hours. My employer is allowing me to telecommute. And yeah, I'm aware of the negatives. My biggest concern is that it doesn't become like prison to me. I'll have to cultivate some new out of the house activities. Tougher being in a new city. Plus - it's Bakersfield. Not a city known for it's, well, anything. Other than heat. And lack of rain. And dirt. And gangs. And drugs, the bad ones. There are good points, they just aren't the ones that initially come to mind. ;)

    The whole purpose of moving is to be close to my dad - my step mom passed away earlier this year, and he's severely visually impaired, almost blind We'll be moving in with him and hopefully making his life simpler, although it will take some adjustments for all of us. It makes things so much easier, knowing I don't have to look for a new job, as well and start over somewhere else. At my age? That would just suck.

    You have to vote, Carole! You've seen Roger live! (And I know this, because you were with me) :grin:

    That I was .... and I have to say, the guy puts on a hell of a show. The rapport he has with his audience is really amazing, and you can feel the love flowing back and forth with his faithful followers, of which there are tons. He's good, no doubt about it and very :googly: as well.

    I'm really sorry guys .... this Bakersfield stuff is really cramping my computer time. I just got back again. I've been able to access my fantasy teams and facebook from my phone, but songfacts, not so much. :(

    I'm sure there was an intent here, and it's been succeassful for both Cyrus and Thicke - publicity! In the plastic world of Hollywood and the pop music scene their act has served it's purpose well, as evidenced right here - everybody's talking. ;)

    Miley isn't the problem. The problem has existed for a very long time, this is just another example of it. This isn't something new, something different. Men (and women) have been objectifying women for a very long time. That is the problem that needs to be addressed, and it has nothing to do with Miley Cyrus.

    Thanks guys for continuously participating after yours was already done.

    My apologies for not being able to participate in skybluesky's PTT. My father had surgery last week and I had to hang around Bakersfield had take care of him - with no internet. It was a looong week. ;) I'll have votes for Brad's, but just got home last night, so I'll try to get these listened to by the weekend. Will you be able to leave it open until Sunday Kenne?

    Shannon I'm so sorry I wasn't able to participate, and I was so looking forward to your list. I've been in Bakersfield taking care of my dad post surgery .... a week with no internet, and I had this, fantasy drafts, and all kinds of stuff happening. :tongue: I'd like to listen and submit votes anyway, even if they are meaningless to the final ten.
