  1. I have to say Vanilla Sky was pretty good. I mentioned halfway that the sky looked so CG...I pick up on these things :D

The Ring - yes I know there is more to it if you watch the Japanese versions, but I could hardly make it through the American one with my eyes open!! That was a truly terrifying movie...but I didn't get it. I mean I got what they wanted it to be, but it didn't all add up if you thought about what had happened. I get that by making copies of the tape and spreading them around they kept themselves alive while others would die, but I mean how did Samara become this evil being? Why her? There were way too many unanswered questions, but it was enough to be terrifying!!! :googly:

  2. Makes me think of the Police hit - So Lonely...worth a bash, here's the lyrics:

    Well someone told me yesterday

That when you throw your love away

You act as if you just don?t care

You look as if you?re going somewhere

But I just can?t convince myself

I couldn?t live with no one else

And I can only play that part

And sit and nurse my broken heart

So lonely, so lonely, so lonely, so lonely

So lonely, so lonely, so lonely

So lonely, so lonely, so lonely

    So lonely, so lonely

Know no one?s knocked upon my door

For a thousand years or more

All made up and no where to go

Welcome to this one man show

Just take a seat they?re always free

    No surprise no mystery

In this theatre that I call my soul

I always play the starring role

So lonely, so lonely, so lonely, so lonely

So lonely, so lonely, so lonely

So lonely, so lonely, so lonely

    So lonely, so lonely

So lonely, so lonely, so lonely, so lonely

So lonely, so lonely, so lonely

    I feel so lonely...

    Lonely, I'm so lonely

    I feel so alone

    I feel low

    I feel so

    Feel so low

    I feel low, low

    I feel low, low, low

    I feel low, low, low

    I feel low, low, low

    I feel low, low, low

    I feel low, low, low

    Low, I feel low

    I feel low

    I feel low

    I feel so lonely

    I feel so lonely

I feel so lonely, lonely, lonely, lone

    Lonely, lone

    I feel so alone, yeah

    So lonely...

It was originally released in 1978, but was rereleased on the Greatest Hits album in 1992.

  3. Wow - alot of those I wouldn't consider as "techno" at all...now I am confused! I believed techno to be in the vein of 2Unlimited and SNAP. Hmmm.....well, based on the lists above here's mine:

    Aphex Twin

    Prodigy

    Daft Punk

    Air

    Chemical Brothers

    Underworld

Moby - I didn't realise he was "techno"......

    Groove Armada

    Juno Reactor

    Benny Benassi

    Fragma

    Royksopp

    Leftfield

    Kosheen

....I feel a bit guilty listing these, as I truly would not call any of them Techno..... ::

I'm actually a really big fan of dance music. I listen to loads from DJ compilations like Dark Globe which is hard D&B and Lock and Load, to club anthems on stuff like Ministry Of Sound and Cream albums. Nothing like a good dance set to keep you dancing all night long :headphones:

  4. I mean it as movies that just don't make sense to me - like you walk out of the cinema going "What???" I've even had it happen where you're sitting there and all of a sudden the credits start rolling and you're left going "where's the rest of it? I don't get it yet!!"

  5. Zoolander! I hated that and it's my best friends all time favourite movie....how could I break his fragile heart and tell him the truth?? :: It just was NOT funny. It had all the right names in the credits, but it wasn't even mildly amusing.

I admit, I did giggle through Meet the Parents. Could have been a moment thing though... ::
