lol, whoa I didn't realise this was my question at first, coz i did it ages ago, i just thought someone randomly wanted to know the exact same thing as i did.
This was originally for an english class assessment and I wrote part of a 2000 word essay on the prejudice shown in Neil Young's Southern Man

I just read the 2nd announcement for the Big Day Out, and it included a UK band, the Subways. I really liked the description of their music, but apart from four lines I know nothing about them. If anyone knows anywhere where I can find out more or listen to their music or anything can you please let me know.

The NZ national anthem is pretty basic, there are like 3 verses in english that I get mixed up. I know the maori though, even though all I can really do in maori is say hello, count to 100 and say a few random body parts and other words thanks to the songs we used to sing in primary school.
The maori version sounds very poetic.

All Shnappi, or whatever it is songs, I really don't understand how a cartoon crocodile singing a kids song in German ( sung by a kid and for some kids german tv programme) can be number 1 on the charts, even though other number 1's arent that much better with top 40 music.

So don't worry everyone else, I am by far the most innocent on songfacts, I'll put it down to age, and the fact that as of yet I haven't been corrupted.

Oooh halloween, it's not actually that big over here, not like in the states. This year I'm performing in this Halloween Fright Night thing, I did it last year too, but I was dancing then, this year I'm acting. People pay to go through the 'haunted school house', and there is like a small scene in every room as they go through the tour. People actually got very scared last year, but after you've rehearsed something so many times, you get shocked that people scream.
It's really tiring, last year I was dancing on and off for about 4 hours, I'll probably lose my voice this year, but at least my feet shouldn't be so sore.
What are some good halloween movies?

you know, I played them to my 14yr old sister last year and she didn't pay attention, note that she likes crappy chart music. however this year, when I went home over the summer she wanted me to play "take me out" constantly! there is still hope for her
That's probably because they ended up being in the charts, but that's okay because your music taste changes so much while you're a teenager that there is definitely hope.
I love Franz Ferdinand, they are coming to Auckland next year for the Big Day Out, a music fest that travels through Australia and comes to New Zealand every year. The White Stripes are coming too, I just hope that I can afford it.

That's a surprise, I would have expected it to be Bohemian Rhapsody.
yeah me too, I still can't believe that a global list of the top ten songs includes a shakira song and a britney spears song, it's crazy. Michael Jackson songs being on the list is understandable, but the British list is going too far, there are many more better songs.

Sometimes videos can make you pay attention more to the songs, but then sometimes I'll see a video and I'll love the video, but I don't actually like the music to it.
I love the white stripes video with the girl in ballet slipper-heels going down stairs.
We only have C4, a music channel from 4oclock onwards and it mainly plays pop music videos and then all the mtv celebrity shows and things. There is juice tv, another music channel, but the reception is really bad for that at my house, so I pretty much never watch it.

I am really bad at making decisions and choosing out of these three is such a hard one, so I'm going to choose.... Queen?, I think, I'll probably have changed my mind in another 30 seconds, they all have such different sounds, it's almost impossible to choose.

Wow this emo thing goes deeper than I thought, are emo clothes the kinda dark gothic/ punk sorta look? If yes then I know someone who is the perfect example.
