  1. LOL. I knew...KNEW this would be how you respond. I've seen you debate with others, and it never varies. You say something, someone replies, and you pick it apart, paragraph by paragraph, then sentence by sentence, and, if need be, word by word, all the way down to correcting spelling. I've seen it over and over.

Well, I'm not biting. You can chase your own tail. LOL.

Look, my wife and I love each other, that's not gonna change, no matter what. You can dissect it any way you want, bud.

I'm sorry if you were "hypothetically" zapped by a woman, but don't carry it around, dude. It's not healthy for your karma. Get rid of it.

  2. When you love some with everything you've got, you don't put restrictions or limits on it. "I'll love you with all my heart , except for if this happens or that happens"

    Hence, a silly question.

As far as not knowing what you're getting at, I just sensed there's an underlying reason as to why one would ask a question like that, that's all.

  3. Ok, this is going to sound sappy, but I don't care.

I knew my wife was who I was going to be with for the rest of my life the very first time she said "Hi" to me.

You know that corny line "you complete me"? Well, that about sums it up. As soon as I met her, it was like "Here's the rest of me. Now I can start living."

We were both out celebrating our birthdays, (they're 4 days apart). I was with all my buddies, she was with hers. She wasn't prettiest one, or the tallest, etc. But she was mine, I knew that straight off. We spent the rest of the night leaning close and whispering and laughing. We were friends from the first second. We touched each other with a familiarity usually reserved for people who've been together a while. I was totally at ease putting my hand on the small of her back , and she was just as comfortable with me. I can honestly say, I knew, that night, March 1st, 1991, I would never, ever love another woman. It's giving me goosebumps just writing this. I'm a very fortunate guy, and I don't ever forget that.

We laugh about it now, our first meeting. She says the reason she liked me right off is because when my friends and I came in, I was the only one wearing a tie, and I held the door open for some other people going out. So she says she knew I was a nice person right then.

I tell her I was attracted to her because I had no choice. As soon as our eyes met, my heart was gone, right into hers. That, and she's got a nice rack. LOL. That usuually gets me a swat.

Needless to say, we were married 6 months later, and have been together ever since. We sw no sense in putting if off and having a long engagement. We wanted to wake up together, do the dishes, grab a handful off ass as we walked by etc. All the things people who love each other do.

Well, sorry for running on. I've thought about this thread since it showed up. I wanted to make sure I've done my wife justice in trying to convey just how deeply I love her.

    Sorry for the syrup O.D.

  4. What's the difference between someone's opinion and someone's truth. Opinions are based on truth. Just Kidding, I remember last time me and XXX got into a huge argument about that. I'm curious to see your pic, jr.

    I don't have a pic. You know a vampire's image can't be captured.

  5. Kiss. These guys are antiques. They have one song that I can actually BARE listening too without bashing my head on a brick. Also, during the Aerosmith/KISS tour. Gene spit blood on my friends 200 dollar leather jacket. He was ready to jump up on stage and make him even uglier.

As a fan who's been fortunate enough to see KISS 6 times, dating from 1977 up until their Farewell tour, are you blind? They put on the Greatest Show On Earth.

As Paul Stanley says, "Who wants to pay to see a bunch of guys standing on stage playing their guitars staring at their shoes?"

C'mon CD, you were kidding, right?

Oh, and as far as the worst band live, Carole's gonna have a bird, but hands down the Stones are the worst. Richards?Jagger ...ahem...'sing' in harmonies unknown to man, and they'rejust loose and sloppy.

  6. There are two types of "didn't get". One, the literal sense, when you don't understand the movie, and two, when you don't understand why everyone else loves the movie.

As far as number two, I'd have to say those 'Lord of the Rings' movies. I mean, they're ok, but not anything that should be grossing hundreds of millions.

  7. I know I'm going to regret this. I hated There's Something About Mary.

    There! I've said it!!

Everyone I know loved that movie. I found it to be (please excuse me) sophomoric drivel. The kind of humor my friends and I enjoyed when we were 14. Ok, I guess I should tell you that I feel the same about Howard Stern.

    OMG...what am I thinking??

    Go ahead...take your best shots.

    Be gentle.

Bravo!! Author! Author! Especially the part about Howard Stern. I wrote in 'Jump the Shark' and I quote, "As long as there are 14 year old boys, Howard Stern will have an audience.

  8. I'd like to jump on this bandwagon as well. I've always considered myself fairly intelligent and open minded. However, in just a few months here, I've learned some

things about myself. I've discovered some flaws in my thinking that I truly need to work on to make myself a better person.

Sara and Carl, rock on. (That's only the second time I've used that symbol)

  9. It's richly descriptive because of what it doesn't say, if that makes any sense. It gives the reader the chance to fill the spaces with their own emotions. At least, that's what I did.

I was there once, when I was young. But, as I grew older, I realized those empty spaces weren't really empty. I just wasn't looking in the right place for the fufillment.

Sorry, I didn't mean to stray. You have a gift. Keep using it.
