  1. Hurt So Bad.........Linda Rondstadt

    I know you

Don't know what I'm goin' through

    Standing here Looking at you

Well, let me tell you that it

    Hurts so bad

It makes me feel so sad

It makes me hurt so bad

    To see you again

Like needles and pins, people say

    You've been making out okay

He's in love, don't stand in his way

Well, let me tell you that it

    Hurts so bad

It makes me feel so sad

    It's gonna hurt so bad

    If you walk away

Why don't you stay and let me make it up to you

I'll do anything you want me to

    You loved me before

    Please love me again

I can't let you go back to her

Please don't go, please don't go

    Ohhhh, hurts so bad

Come back, it hurts so bad

Don't make it hurt so bad

    I'm beggin' you please

JUST DROPPED IN (To see what condition my condition was in)

    written by Mickey Newbury

(yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)

I woke up this mornin? with the sundown shinin? in

I found my mind in a brown paper bag within

I tripped on a cloud and fell-a eight miles high

I tore my mind on a jagged sky

I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

(yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)

I pushed my soul in a deep dark hole and then I followed it in

I watched myself crawlin? out as I was a-crawlin? in

I got up so tight I couldn?t unwind

I saw so much I broke my mind

I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

(yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)

Someone painted april fool in big black letters on a dead end sign

I had my foot on the gas as I left the road and blew out my mind

Eight miles outta memphis and I got no spare

Eight miles straight up downtown somewhere

I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

I said I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

    Yeah yeah oh-yeah

  5. On The Road

Sung by (the great) Lee Roy Parnell

    Written by Bob McDill

    CD: On the Road

There's a sad young wife never had a life

Her mother says she married young

And her husband's a fool never listened to

All the things she's never done

So she packs up that old Ford Fairlane

She's had about all she can bear

A suitcase, a hope, and a hard rain,

She's gonna find it all somewhere

    Chorus:

    On the road

    Where the night is black

    On the road

    Where you don't look back

There's a white line in the distance

    Where it's going nobody knows

If it's anywhere you'll find it

    On the road

There's a teenage kid no matter what he did

    Nobody ever understands

And he don't measure up and he's had enough

Can't be his daddy's little man

So he pulls out that hot rod Chevy

    Puts in his favorite cassette

Well he ain't goin' to no college

The world is waitin' up ahead

    Chorus

Eddie and Jill got time to kill

The kids they never come around

And a gold-plated watch was all he got

When the company shut his life down

So he takes out that old Airstream

They don't know where they're bound

    Sixty-five years and still searchin'

For something that they never found

    Chorus

  6. Do you think that the best songs was in the 80s, it was the period when english songs invade all the world, diffrent tongues sing by these beautiful language, but why do u think songs differ now and I canet taste it, do we have new generation of songs these years?, totally differ, what is good and what is bad?, or it just we start to be so old to taste the new songs :help:
I personally love the 70's songs because I was young and wild in those days and had some wonderful times. My memories are in the songs.
