ok not much to go on...I heard this song at the Dominican Repub a couple of weeks ago and cannot shake it from my head.

It is latin, it has awesome drum beats (almost afro-caribbean) and I swear the lyrics included "eh macarena..."

Any help would be appreciated! :help:

'Macarena' was a flamenco tune, composed and released in 1993 by Spanish duo Los Del Rio, a version of which went on to be a worldwide hit complete with toe-curling synchronised dance routine.

well maybe i can help u cuz i live in dr i've probably heard it , it could be "macarena" from this spanish duo but since u mentioned it has an afro carribean beat to it, it's probably a merengue version of that song. ::

I meant DEFINITELY NOT "The Macarena"

It may not even have that word to be honest...it begins with eh...ma(something)...

Thanks a lot all...I shall keep digging! :afro:
