JumboXL Posted December 8, 2009 Report Share Posted December 8, 2009 In the comments on the SongFacts of the Beatles' hit Yellow Submarine Olle from Sweden remarked that in the middle part of the song (the underwater sound scenery) a Swedish shout was heard, according to many Sedish fans at the time. At 1:46 in this recording ( ) one is supposed to hear something like "Hasse, stäng darren, Hasse, stäng darren". At that same time there was a strong rumour in The Netherlands, that a Dutch technician in the studio at that particular moment had uttered a Dutch shout: "Hou ze tegen, hou ze tegen.." (meaning something like: someone stop them....). I can't imagine any other language being spoken than English. However I cannot find out what exactly is said in this studio play. Does anybody know?
