  1. Ia certain this is NOT the one you are looking for, but when I hear your lyrics, this is what comes to mind.

    Dirty Laundry

    by Don Henley

I make my living off the evening news

Just give me something, something I can use

People love it when you lose, they love dirty laundry

Well, I could've been an actor, but I wound up here

I just have to look good, I don't have to be clear

Come and whisper in my ear, give us dirty laundry

Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down

Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down

Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down

Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em all around

We got the bubbleheaded bleach-blonde, comes on at 5

She can tell you about the plane crash with a gleam in her eye

It's interesting when people die, give us dirty laundry

Can we film the operation? Is the head dead yet?

You know the boys in the newsroom got a running bet

Get the widow on the set, we need dirty laundry

You don't really need to find out what's going on

You don't really want to know just how far it's gone

Just leave well enough alone, keep your dirty laundry

Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down

Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down

Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down

Kick 'em when they're stiff, kick 'em all around

Dirty little secrets, dirty little lies

We got our dirty little fingers in everybody's pie

Love to cut you down to size, we love dirty laundry

We can do the innuendo, we can dance and sing

When it's said and done, we haven't told you a thing

We all know that crap is king, give us dirty laundry

  2. Well, I really enjoy Guns N Roses.

I watched a show about them just this week.

Im sorry to say, that there probably isn't a good answer as to what they were thinking, being that Drugs and Alcohol were very prominent in their rise and fall.

I also didn't know that Axl Rose had such a terrible childhood, and that was the given reason why he was so volatile, and unpredictable.

  3. I use this screen name in several sites.

simply because I like the name.

Once upon a time, a long time ago, BD, {before Divorce} my initals were DD.

Now thats changed, but I still refer to myself, 13 years later, as DD.

Dd sounds much nicer to the ear, than DH, dont you think?

    { I dont think I would like being called a DH anyway!}

  4. well, I personally know what my opinion counts for, and thats NADA,

but I liked the Morgan picture also.

This one does seem mysterous, and ominous.

Darth Vadar is a good analogy.

"Alas, poor Mystic. I knew him, Horatio - a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy."

  5. Oh how funny!

I got an entirely different take on the song.

    {thanks for posting the words BTW!}

I think hes writing a song to his lawyer.

You came to me, and said you would be mine,

    You firm has the stones,

    where do I sign?

I think his lawyer is not contacting him, and hes impatient.

    :D

but hey, what do I know?

  6. hey there....

you are right, I have never heard of Motorgrater,

but I did find them on the net.

and this is what I found out about the song

    "no Name"

    Hope it helps

    ..............

Well, Motograter has a riveting song on the new album that pays homage to one of history?s greatest rebels. ?The song ?No Name,? says Ghost. ?I got the idea from Mozart. He was buried in an unmarked grave for a time. because he stood up against the politicians of his day. I always figured it illustrated that someone who has the courage to be different is usually condemned. Or buried ? like he was ? with no name.?

Ps, I dont know if its allowed to post the website this quote came from on this site, but If you write me, Ill tell you then.

  7. My granddaughter is in a bilingual class at school.

When we play games that you choose who goes first, she always sings this song, and I always LOOSE.

    :(

    Does anyone recoginze this chant?

The tune is very similar to Ennie meenie miney moe.....

Please excuse my spanish, as Im getting this from a 5 year old, whos Ss are said eth....

    "vito vito, Bien Venito.

    Donde vas ..... Bonito.

    ..............

    ............"

    "Sit down grandma

    its not you."

Id love it if I can get it both in english,

    and spanish.

I would love to tell her for once that its NOT HER! ::

  8. well, there were several large cameras there.

    I can easily count 4.

I do know our local station is playing alot of songs that were done then.

If I were to have to guess, Id say, Yeah.

they are probably gona do some kind of dvd,

    clips, or whatever. =:P

  9. I have a CD called

    "Best of the 80s"

    It has:

All she wants to do is dance

    Electric avenue

    sweet dreams

    Karma chamelion

    Material Girl

    addicted to love

    Time after Time

Wake me up before you go-go

    Walk like an egiptian

    Mony mony

    Faith

    Sexual healing

    Billy Jean

Saving all my love for you

    Little red corvette

Whats love got to do with it*

I just called to say I love you

    every Breath you take

    Against all odds

and Just the two of us

    * Radio is playing Tina Turner as I type

Now, granted, "best of" is a generic term

and some of these I hated even then,

    but hope it helps. =:P

  10. suddenly.....

    who shows up?

    Johnny Depp.

The girls in the lawn chairs start whispering.

That HAS to be Johnny Depp.

No one else can look that much like Johnny Depp in his pirate costume.

    No wait, Wheres Muziktyme?

Havent seen Marcus in a while.

Must be him, in that costume.

HMMMM, maybe we need more Margaritas.

You look across the waters,... calm, reflecting the moons glow.

The fire is crackling, the steaks smell marvelous.

The strains of guitar come to your ears.

    Loud bursts of laughter.

And of corse, the dog, tail wagging, occasionally fetching a frisbee, thrown to the waters.

  11. DD finally shows up.

with a battery powered Blender, and some Quervo gold.

"Margaritas all around" she calls, just as the guy on the seadoo swings back around, and you hear "searching for my lost shaker of salt"

    What a good party,

Friends, Margaritas, Elvis, and of corse the wedding couple.

  12. Was Totally Awesome!

    it was beyond words!

My B.B. King has my utmost respect!

He had a killer jam session with Eric Clapton, Jimmy Vaughn, Buddy Guy, and another gentleman that just blew me away!

Mr King just kept asking "what else do you want to play?"

to the other musicians. As they were finishing one song, he was ready for another.

He told us hes 78 years old.

From James Taylor, to Carlos Santana, to the enevitable Joe Walsh, to ZZ Top, and not to mention Many many more!

It was a complete Honor to be part of history!

I am really glad I had this Oppurtunity.

  13. well, I agree with Musictime,

A really bad song, sung over and over.

Because after one time hearing it, knowing it was coming 'round again, Id go nuts.

I have a particular band that drives me nuts, but If I said it was Led Zeppelin, somebody would say bad things about me.
