  1. It looks like him and there's a fiddle player in the background.

    Is it Dexy's Midnight Runners?

    Musical Interlude:

    Come on Eileen,

I swear (well he means) At this moment you mean everything,

With you in that dress my thoughts I confess verge on dirty

    Ah come on Eileen.

    * How can you read "incest" into those songs Brad?

    Old55,

I read these lyrics from "Clair" and figured they were getting it on.

    Musical Interlude:

But why in spite of our age difference do I cry

Each time I leave you I feel I could die

Nothing means more to me than hearing you say

    I'm going to marry you

Will you marry me Uncle Ray?

    Oh! Clair, Clair

Then I read these lyrics from "Montego Bay" and I thought he was using 'rum' and 'silver tray' as a euphamism for "you know what" when he said he was thirsty. I figured he was getting it on with his brother.

    Musical Interlude:

'N' Gillian'll meet me like a brother would

I think I remember but it's twice as good

Like how cool the rum is from his silver tray

I thirst to be thirsty in Montego Bay

I know it sounds sick, but hey, "whatever flavor you favor".

The Killing Of Georgie was about a homosexual boy who left home and I figured maybe that's where he picked up that lifestyle in the first place. I don't know. ::

I have no idea where Sammy got his ideas from, but I'd like to hear them.

    HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION:

What is Brad's real identity? (It's not whom I first thought). :shades:

Ooh! Ooh! I know the answer to this question!

How many points do I get if I get it correct? =:P

    Old55,

Let me introduce myself. I sorta introduced myself once before when you came back from vacation, but for some reason you thought it was Sammy pulling a fast one on you.

How many points do I get for figuring that out?

(How about that, Sammy. You got him without even trying.)

I'm just another NEPA guy who loves to joke around and have fun (just like Sammy), with one exception... I'm better looking! ::

Just kidding. We're both NEPA boys, but I've never met him.

I'm 41, divorced, and I live with my 18 yr. old daughter, who by the way, says she's moving out as soon as she finds a job.

Somebody stop me already before I fall off my chair.

I listen to, read about, and research all types of music for fun and I love music facts and trivia. Oh, and I love anagrams if you haven't already heard.

I've been having so much fun playing and joking around and meeting everyone on this site. I Love It!! :coolio:

I read through all the old posts while you were on vacation and I couldn't wait until you came back to play your game. It's a big hit with everyone, including me. :D

Now that you know me, let's get on with the game, shall we? :happybanana:

Musical Interlude: (which Sammy holds the copyright to) used with permission.

    Play, play the game tonight

Can you tell me if it's wrong or right

It is worth the time, is it worth the price

Do you see yourself in a white spotlight

    Then play the game tonight

~Play The Game Tonight~ Kansas

Damn brad. I guess I need to try and stump you too.

Horns connect to only a few bands and it only took one look at that hat to figure out it wasn't chicago. LOL

Of course on the new photo, those legs would bring any group of guys oogling. They could have been a bunch of street musicians begging for change when she walked by.

I hope their not one of your favorites since I laughed at them. :blah:

  5. This IS a pain, then, as I've just checked another source putting it at #72 ! :) :stars: Certainly, there's misinformation out there, but something like this should be rather set and consistent, you'd think. Kinda of like listing nominees rather than winners on a past Oscars list...

According to Joel Whitburn, it was # 13.

And anyone knows not to question Joel Whitburn  when it comes to music.

B: No one, but The Mormon Tabernacle Choir came in at #97 on the US charts with "The Battle Hymn Of The Republic" in 1959.

That chart position is incorrect information Kevin.

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir hit position # 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the song "Battle Hymn Of The Republic" in 1959.
