What did cavemen say before they started walking upright?
Spock, James Carrey and Lenoid Brezhnev.

Wow. If it's true then I think I can't wait!

~thoughtful interlude~
William Peterson fit well in the role he played (Manhunter) but I reckon I'm just a fan of William Peterson.
He's a very intense actor. Anthony Hopkins has his own style, too.
I'm not sure which movie featured Hopkins eating the medium-raw brains of Ray Liotta while he was still alive. Each time Hopkins took another piece of brain tissue, Ray Liotta became more and more oblivious to what was happening to him. Eventually, Hopkins fed Liotta some of his own brain...even though Liotta was beyond the point of tasting anything! It was so well acted and so unexpected!!!
That sequence horrified me more than the 'Lecter books/films which came before or after.
Gruesome genius!

Surrounded by Idiots ~ Wrathchild America

Hey guys. The reason I'm posting what follows is it is the second part of the "Weight of the World."
It's called World of Hurt by OVER KILL
Aggravation, fuelin' me
Money powered, hypocracy
I have no feelings, you're much the same
We have no feelings, we feel no pain!
I am numb to all I see
This is the way it has to be!
Gone is hope, gone is need
I know!
Stone don't bleed. . .
What's it worth?
If I die?
What's the reason?
They all cry
I have no feelings
Too much the same
Not my problem
I feel no blame
We are blind and we are cold
We're afraid of growing old
We are numb to all we see
Nothing sacred . . .
Backs turned to madness
Backs to misery and I put the
Brush to the canvas
An' paint a world
Paint my world of:
Hurt!!!
We are blind and we are cold
Still afraid of growing old
We are numb to all we see
Nothing sacred
Hurt!!!
Paints my world of hurt
Paints my world
In my world of
Hurt . . .

That was a mighty fine guess if I do say so myself!
I need you @ Vegas and welcome to Songfacts!

Two things to keep in mind:
1. Sir Paul McCartney is worth (from the last gallup poll) over two-hundred dollars per minute!
2. Anyone that makes two-hundred dollars per minute is far from stupid and the least of his worry is an unfaithful wife.

I apologize that this next song doesn't include its superlative intro. The album is titled:
"I Hear Black"
Just one of OVER KILL's masterpiece!
Weight of the World ~ OVER KILL
You feel the weight of the world
And your back's not that strong
Can you carry a tune or is the weighting forever
So long?!
Do ya freeze in the heat
Wear sunglasses at night
And are you beating my meat to the sound of the
Same old drum!?
It's time to shed your skin. . .
And with it promises
And we bite down hard and feel...
The weight of the world!
Yeah there's a song in them words
Though they leak through your teeth
You're shakin' hands with the right
While you're cutting my throat with the left!
Yeah, it's the weight of the world
When ya lay down with dogs
After humpin' your leg
They just leave you with pleas and just split!
The more I know, the less I understand . . .
Try not to think, out loud...
The more I know, more I know, more I know,
More I feel...
The weight of the world!!!
It's the weight of the world
When ya lay down with dogs
All the names have been changed but the story is
...Always the same!
Weight of the world . . .

...who influenced the Beatles as youngsters, who influenced them further when they left bubblegum tunes for a more diverse and eclectic offering?
My only guess is that the members as youngsters already had natural artistic talent before appreciating the likes of Chuck Berry and Li'l Richard. As well as many other black artists dating back to the early, steady rumble of Algerian djembes. What could be expected from the raw genius of the Beatles than to evolve even further? Paul or Ringo would be the best ones to ask.
How bout Frank Zappa?I think that ' Zappa was a life changer as well as a groundbreaker

Just as first scout Niedemheier stepped out of the craft he gasped. Not because of the ammonia-filled atmosphere but because he saw something so beautiful that he couldn't help but walk towards it.*
Niedemheier had become a cannibal six months earlier when Captain Klaus gave the go-ahead to murder the weak and sick surviving members after the rations had been depleted.
They ate well...until it was just the two of them. Luckily for Niedemheier that he was an insomniac. Even more so that he forgot the screams.
*He didn't bother to notice the black-orange sky, the leaves of vegetation being iridescent nor the quadruple suns. He was hungry...again. He saw lots of vegetation in this new world!
He wandered and found what looked liked huge strawberries. He reached down with both hands and grabbed one. It felt unusually familiar. He examined it carefully to make sure it wasn't poisonous.
And then, without a moment's hesitation . . .
He bit into it.
...faintly he heard a scream. He ignored it and grabbed another. This time the scream was louder than before. The juices ran down his mouth...almost the same way that his comrades' blood had.
He kept eating, anyway.Still ignoring the
SCREAMS!!!
Little did he realize the vine encircling his legs...the microscopic barbs sending neuro-toxins had already numbed them. Though he could still hear screaming . . .
He screamed once he realized that he couldn't; even his vocal cords were paralyzed! The venus-fly-trap monstrosity couldn't care less about Niedemheier's inaudible screams. It couldn't hear them!
The last sound Neidemheier unfortunately heard was thunderous even though it was simply a burp.

I would've never guessed beforehand how "To Live and Die in L.A." (1985) would've ended like it did.
The digital remastered version (2003) has an alternate ending.
One of my all-time favourite movies (original ending)... Willem Dafoe stole the show, IMO. Along with probably the best car-chase scene in movie production history.
It made "French Connection" look like Hotwheels and orange-plastic tracks! lol

~UNDUN~
She's come undun
She didn't know what she was headed for
And when I found what she was headed for
It was too late
She's come undun
She found a mountain that was far too high
And when she found out she couldn't fly
It was too late
It's too late
She's gone too far
She's lost the sun
She's come undun
She wanted truth but all she got was lies
Came the time to realize
And it was too late
She's come undun
She didn't know what she was headed for
And when I found what she was headed for
Mama, it was too late
It's too late
She's gone too far
She's lost the sun
She's come undun
Too many mountains, and not enough stairs to climb
Too many churches and not enough truth
Too many people and not enough eyes to see
Too many lives to lead and not enough time
It's too late
She's gone too far
She's lost the sun
She's come undun
Doe-doe-doe-doe-doe doe un doe-doe-doe un doe-doe-doe
Doe doe-doe-doe-doe un doe-doe-doe doe-doe-doe
Doe doe-doe-doe doe doe-doe-doe doe doe

I thought that Hellbound ~ Hellraiser II was a great sequel.
The premise of a Lament Configuration or indifference to pain or pleasure has always fascinated me.
I mean, what could possibly be worse than winding up in an endless labyrinth with nothing to look forward to other than doom?

I must say, aplantage, that if you brought cheer to blind-fitter then you've brought cheer to me and the whole boards~!
Hopefully you'll stick around for a while.
...and I dig your avatar, it's a bit like mine though yours is more mysterious.
Before I forget, this next band redefines obscurity through perfection carving their craft. It's a bit rough but I never knew a craftsman that wasn't.
(the light show alone is worth the admission price)

New Machine ~ OVER KILL
Nailed to the cross by just words
Crucifixion complete
Close enough to the fire...
To feel temptation's heat
It's gone away to taste the ground
Replaced by the incessant sound of fear...
There's a ring in my ears
I'm bleeding from my heart
Far away from love...
The execution starts
Made us what we are today
A lonely pile of disarray...
We are the children of a new regime
We are the children of a new machine . . .
Mass production, thought controlled
No I never knew my heart!
No,
NEVER knew the love...
That made them fall apart;
It's gone away to taste the ground,
Replaced by the incessant sound we hear!
We are the children of a new regime . . .
. . . Horrorscope

Well,
So much for sticking to rules, zsjaksncdioujode3
Or whatever your name is
It's too late for me to delete the above rude statement. So, I only thought it proper to apologize to Zabadak for being unintentionally impolite.
I'm not a mean person but sometimes when I look over my posts I can see how people could easily dislike me.
Truly, it is not my intent to disappoint any of y'all because music is the only love I'll always have.

Watch out for mold spores because they can cause irreversible lung damage...quick!
Unless you happen to know Grampa Munster. He used to make penicillin out of moldy bread. I wouldn't recommend trying this at home, though. (lol)
So far, this week has been perfect (IMO) weather in my neck-o'-the-woods. 83(F) the high and not a cloud in the sky!
