Hi Angie,
I couldn't find anything about that song, but I did find some "definitions" for car names. Hope this helps, if not, at least it's funny! ::
What car names really stand for
FORD
First On Recall Day
First On Race Day
First On Rust and Deterioration
Fix Or Repair Daily
Found On Road, Dead
Fault Of R & D
Fast Only Rolling Downhill
Features O.J. and Ron's DNA
Found On Russian Dump
For FORD, you can add this?
In Charleston, WV, there used to be a Chevy dealer named Roger Dean (who moved to Florida and started a car dealership down there), so Ford had another meaning?
F*** Ol' Roger Dean

Here's one of my favorites from the 1960's?

My name is Don and I'm crazy. I wanted to be like Weird Al Yankovic and do song parodies, and my name was Crazy Don. So there.

Do any of you get pop ups that look like this:
If so, to disable it follow the instructions on this site: LINKY POO
Sorry Jason, Messenger Service on Win 98 and ME can not be disabled. That's what you call bad karma coming back to get you for all that pirated software you have! :: ! Cindy, and Catherine, you're next!
PS Jayson, did you ever try going into MSCONFIG to reduce items on start up to free your system resources?
You may also download this program, which is what I use?

Here you go?it's "Please Mr. Postman" by the Marvelettes.
Later recorded by the Beatles and by the Carpenters?
Please Mr. Postman
The Marvelettes
(Stop)
Oh yes, wait a minute Mister Postman
(Wait)
Wait Mister Postman
Please Mister Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a letter in your bag for me
(Please, Please Mister Postman)
Why's it takin' such a long time
(Oh yeah)
For me to hear from that boy of mine
There must be some word today
From my boyfriend so far away
Pleas Mister Postman, look and see
If there's a letter, a letter for me
I've been standin' here waitin' Mister Postman
So patiently
For just a card, or just a letter
Sayin' he's returnin' home to me
(Mister Postman)
Mister Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a letter in your bag for me
(Please, Please Mister Postman)
Why's it takin' such a long time
(Oh yeah)
For me to hear from that boy of mine
So many days you passed me by
See the tears standin' in my eyes
You didn't stop to make me feel better
By leavin' me a card or a letter
(Mister Postman)
Mister Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a letter in your bag for me
(Please, Please Mister Postman)
Why's it takin' such a long time
(Why don't you check it and see one more time for me, you gotta)
Wait a minute
Wait a minute
Wait a minute
Wait a minute
(Mister Postman)
Mister Postman, look and see
(C'mon deliver the letter, the sooner the better)
Mister Postman

I know that the Orlons had a hit in 1963 with a song called "South Street," which begins?
Where do all the hippies meet?
South Street, South Street
Where the dancing is elite
South Street, South Street?

"Pictures of Matchstick Men," Status Quo, 1968.
Lyrics:
PICTURES OF MATCHSTICK MEN
The Status Quo
(Rossi)
When I look up to the sky
I see your eyes, a funny kind of yellow
I rush home to bed, I sunk my head
I see your face underneath my pillow
I wake next morning, tired still yawning
See your face come peeking through my window
Pictures of matchstick men and you
Images of matchstick men and you
All I ever see is them and you
Windows echo your reflection
When I look in their direction gone
When will this haunting stop
Your face, it just won't leave me alone
Pictures of matchstick men and you
Images of matchstick men and you
All I ever see is them and you
You in the sky, you with the sky
You make me cry, your eyes
You in the sky, you with the sky
You make me cry, your eyes
Picture of matchstick men and
Picture of matchstick men and
Picture of matchstick men and

Although the song was sung by Bill Withers, it is listed on the label as Grover Washington, Jr., the saxman who actually performed the song. He died not too long ago.
-
Don't know the second song, but I do know that the first one is "The Joker" by the Steve Miller Band.
-
Barbra Streisand's "Woman in Love" and Britney Spears' "Oops I Did It Again."
-
Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs
is the correct answer.
-
"Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba.
Never really liked the song, but it gets stuck in your head?
-
Mark Lindsay.
The lead singer for Paul Revere & the Raiders.
-
"The Streak," 1974, Ray Stevens, Barnaby Records.
Remember it well. Just about every station in town played it, except the station my English teacher listened to. I went out and bought it and still have it.

I prefer the version by Roger Whittaker myself. I'm pretty sure he's looking for that version?
-
I always believed the song was originally done by Al Hibbler, who had the original hit with it in 1955.
-
"Gold" by John Stewart.

My favorite worst band name of all time is the Thompson Twins. They're a trio (none of whom are related) and none of the members has the last name of Thompson?
-
My sister was married to Barbra Streisand's "Evergreen."

In the old days, DJs were real people who played the songs by cuing up the albums just like everyone else. Being human, they often liked to hear songs that flowed seamlessly on the record played together, and that's how listeners came to expect it. That's what happened with these Queen songs, but they are definitely 2 separate songs.
Other songs that got grouped together:
Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band/A Little Help From My Friends (The Beatles)
Eruption/You Really Got Me (Van Halen)
Heartbreaker/Livin' Lovin' Maid (Led Zeppelin)
Some more:
Fat Bottomed Girls/Bicycle Race--Queen
Dragon Attack/Another One Bites the Dust--Queen
Space Intro/Fly Like an Eagle--Steve Miller
Threshold/Jet Airliner--Steve Miller
Waitin' for the Bus/Jesus Just Left Chicago--ZZ Top
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Reprise/A Day in the Life--The Beatles

The Hollies. Features Elton John on piano.
Also recorded by Neil Diamond and by Olivia Newton-John.

You Don't Even Know Who I Am
(Gretchen Peters)
She left the car in the driveway
She left the key in the door
She left the kids at her mama's
And the laundry piled up on the floor
She left her ring on the pillow
Right where it wouldn't be missed
She left a note in the kitchen
Next to the grocery list
It said, you don't even know who I am
You left me a long time ago
You don't even know who I am
So what do you care if I go
He left the ring on the pillow
He left the clothes on the floor
And he called her to say he was sorry
But he couldn't remember what for
So he said I've been doing some thinking
I've been thinking that maybe you're right
I go to work every morning
And I come home to you every night
And you don't even know who I am
You left me a long time ago
You don't even know who I am
So what do I care if you go
You don't even know who I am
So what do I care if you go

Which starts out with those ludicrous lyrics "Daddy was a cop on the east side of Chicago?"
(In other words, daddy's beat was Lake Michigan!)
