  2. Speaking of reflections; my dad used to always play this next song on his 12 string guitar. For lack of a better word, it was beautiful! it went something like this:

    "Here that lonesome whipporwill

He sounds too blue to fly

The midnight train is whinning low

I'm so lonesome I could cry

Did ya ever have a night so long

    When time kept crawling by

The moon just went behind a cloud

To hide its face and cry

Did you ever hear a robin weep

    When leaves began to die

That means its lost the will to live

I'm so lonesome I could cry

The silence of a falling star

    Lights up a purple sky

And as I wonder where you are

I'm so lonesome I could cry."

  3. Wow, the things one can learn from song facts!

For me, what has worked for hic-coughs is:

During the last one, swallow a spoon full of sugar and hold your breath as long as you can; when you exhale, just breathe normally and the hic-coughs should be gone.

Well, most of the time. ;)

  4. Thoughtful interlude :

I find it amusing, to say the least, that every initial I have given - a responder gave a different answer than what my original thought was - but it worked! Now I'll answer Brad_M's and most likely the answer is not what he had in mind. :)

    Rob Halford (Judas Priest)

  5. Not sure this will ever happen again, but I worked for a Classic Rock station that played "The Zep Set" every weeknight at 7pm. It was 3 Led Zeppelin songs, and could be anything in the catalog - even stuff like "Achilles Last Stand" and "Carouselambra." You get a heck of an appreciation for their body of work when you hear them every night, and I don't remember any complaints.

Hi carl. I work for a local radio station part time and we have Wed Zeb for two hours every wednesday night where callers request zeppelin songs they would like to hear. Then we have zep call where we talk about why led zeppelin is a definitive classic rock band. It has worked well for us so far! :)
