way to go seeker Congrats on your #1. I did want to see what you would do if it didn't make it tho

Being quite "old" but very "young", I listen to everything from a song that was written in 1927 to the music played today and like a lot of it from all the years. Sometimes I have an issue with some of the lyrics but...I love The Foxes. They have a very special sound. Better than a lot that are coming out.

You think I was joking?
Sammy... work for you.
well, like they say, stuff happens

Allentown is a blue collar steeltown in Pennsyvania that is dying because of the decline of the USA steel industry. Kind of a microcosm of American manufacturing problems and this is an anthem to the folks who are affected.
I know that, I was just yanking Seekers chain is all.
-
You mean renominate songs? Of course you can
It's what I'm doing right now until Allentown makes it (it's the only song I'm obsessed with like that)
It won't be pretty!
hmmm, what is Allentown, uh uh uh

And I nominated Don't Want to Miss a Thing a few weeks ago. Hope it can get in this time.
And I love Wasted on the Way too. I saw CSN in concert back when that song was a hit.
Hi, I never saw them in concett but I think it is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Tim McGraw put it out a few years back and it is excellent by him too.
-
Good tunes Karma...I nominated Wasted On The Way at one time...I hope it does well this time...you've got my vote...
tks Laurie. One of my favs and it has my vote too.

Knock yourself out, karma. Two is always better than one.
ok, i'll take Avril Lavigne as my 2nd choice. My favorite song by her is Nobody's Home but I like most of her music. She is an extremely talented young lady and she was nominated by Canadian Business Magazine ranked her the seventh most powerful Canadian in Hollywood. Quite and accomplishment for someone so young. I got the info from wiki and just copied and pasted.
-
hey, it says 1 or 2 so I am assuming that we can co 2 if we want?
-
I'll take Bryan Adams.
I love this guys music. He is very talented. Both composes and performs.
-
tks Lucky, I am almost all done, I think Lea is going to make me a couple of videos cause she has the cds and I have old albums which don't work. However, there are a couple that neither of us could find so I will probably send them to you. Thanks so much, I really do appreciate it.

Good Grief, that looks terrible.. that is what I get for doing 50 things at once.

Hey, what a nice Top Ten... I love every song and this time Gloria Gaynor made it...
Karma, cyber is more than right... That would be an amazing list to chose and to listen...
Karma, I think you´re one of the youngest among us...
Hi Edna, I will start making my list then. I am a lot younger than I am I don't know how I got so old without getting old

Way to go mommy :happybanana: :happybanana:
Now didn't I tell you this was the bestest and coolest site on the web? Not only is it fun but the peoples here ROCK
yes you did sweetie and you were so right. Sure wish you would have twisted my arm harder tho' so I would have came aboard sooner.
-
Congratulations Karma.
Two great nominations.
Tks 55, I love both of those songs. They would definately have to be in any TT that I put up. I would have a hard time picking just 10 TT
-
Aww Tim, who woulda thunk it?
Great list, I at least like every song, and love about half. I'm pretty darn pleased ..... But karma! Congratulations doll, you may be the first to have accomplished that feat.
You guys make me feel so special on here. I love each and everyone of you. I just wish I would have signed earlier like Lea wanted me too. I would have loved to do the Top Fifty. I have all you guys to thank for voting on the songs that I love so much.

I love Christie Brinkley. She is a cutie and I'm not jealous of her. I have the same things she does only mine is a bit older is all. no "meow" here.
