Just got this DVD:
-
Whoa. Einsturzende Neubauten! I am compelled to buy the album
-
Jody Watley's "Don't You Want Me?"
-
Sometimes, if a price is too good to be true, then it is... or it's a crappy bootleg from China. If you're specific about what you want, then you should probably buy vintage/used stuff that is still in good shape, which was most likely made in North America
-
I need to get those early albums
-
I finally found a Tartaruga bicycle retailer here in the U.S. I'm gonna hafta start saving my pennies now for this one, but I should be able to have one by my birthday
-
They were an offshoot of The Future, I thought. What was left was then called The Human League - both, still, totally awersome bands
-
Exactly, so you do get what I was saying. I never led on that I wanted to be just friends
-
-
Hahaha. Those racecar ones looked spiffy when I was a kid. Seriously, this bed is huge, like a Cadillac!
-
I ordered the bed - this thing is like a Cadillac of beds: Sealy Posturepedic in queen size. I'll go ahead and throw away my desk and teevee stand to get this thing placed just right.
-
I think that was an album they cut with Martyn Ware of Heaven 17
-
Does Quadrophenia count?
God, I love that moped
-
This Is Spinal Tap has to count. It's one of my all-time favourite comedies
-
Because she treats her boyfriends differently
-
Maybe Brian DePalma's Phantom Of The Paradise, whose soundtrack only contains pieces by Paul Williams - AND he stars in it as "Swan"
Liza Minelli in "Cabaret"? No not a good one...Didn't The Monkees have any movie?
Head!
-
Maturity and grace in this instance would've been an invitation for her to walk all over me. I know how she treats her "friends." That was a double-negative and reads a little off [even for sarcasm], by the way

Brad's post on the Magical Mystery Tour re-release got me thinking about this.
Many singers have appeared in movies, but who are some that have starred in movies that are showcases for their music? Not documentaries, but scripted films with plenty of performance scenes.
The only three I can think of are:
The Beatles
Elvis
Prince
There have to be others, right? Let's say it has to be more than one film so Britney Spears doesn't count.
Daft Punk had the animated film Interstella 5555, which showcased every song from their album, Discovery
-
The whole soundtrack is David Bowie's songs
-
Added it to my netfix queue
-
Cool pics. It's great to see some of you peeps

Hahaha. I paid a little extra attention to a girl I fancied and asked her to lunch with me a few times a week to gauge if there was mutual interest: the conversation goes great every time, there's shared laughter, body language and non-verbal cues are coordinated, all the signs are there, and then... I make my move to ask her out. BAM! She says we're just friends in a sneak ninjamove karatechop and kick to the head into the abyss in front of everyone, and totally dodges the answer by trying to set me up with one her friends; that was adding insult to injury. I quickly stomped out that fire by laughing and telling her we're not friends, nor would I want to waste my time pretending to be one. Then, I ordered another round of beers for everyone at our table

WHOA! You're 64?! Hahaha. You look at least 10 years younger in your picture. Every day should be a cause for celebration. Hence, many happy returns
-
Oh, and I found out I didn't need to buy the book in my CE class, so I just blew 60 bucks for nuthin'
What grinds your gears then?

Cleaning grinds my gears. Ugh. I spent a few hours cleaning today, but now it's time for an Internet break
