Albert Hammond.
Your hint gave it away.

:happybanana: [big]HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE![/big] :happybanana:
What a pity your birthday coincides with the bad news this morning (I hope you know what I'm talking about, though I'm sure it affects me more than you. I'll be depressed until the 2010/11 summer when we get our revenge).

I like it, I just don't love it.

I LOVE the songs from #3-5!
-
You might need another look. It isn't an album by various artists, and the artist is in my PTT.
-
After that first go, I thought I could get 100 seconds easily.
About 15 attempts later, including several that lasted less than a minute, I finally got 110 seconds.
-
89 seconds first go!
There is a fourth game that starts at 80 seconds, in case you wondering. You have to use the spacebar to avoid obstacles.
I didn't know I was good at multitasking.

How did you know my nickname (among members of my cricket team) is Sammy?
Time for Uncle Joe.

Okay, I'm sure I've gone too obscure here so I don't know if another anagram will help...
I'll give you all a huge hint: I nominated a different song from the same album in my PTT.

How long would this have taken to film?
The Original Human SPACE INVADERS Performance
Not to mention they have done the same thing with several other retro games, if you look at the channel this video was posted on...

^ Good point.

Well spotted! Since Sigur Ros still haven't made the top ten yet, I suggest we make it official and update the archive pages to put the excellent Glósóli at #10 for that week.

Nuh uh.
I don't think it will be anyone who is online now. Edna, maybe?

Since most people seem to be nominating songs from the Woodstock era so far, I'll do the exact opposite. These songs are both the second and current single from the current albums from popular Australian bands (well, Evermore are really New Zealanders, but we stole them).
Losing Friends Over Love - Eskimo Joe (2009)
Can You Hear Me - Evermore (2009) (READ BEFORE WATCHING: The video actually has two songs on it. The first song is called Faster. The song I am nominating starts about 1:55 into the clip).
-
I was at Woodstock.
-
Capoicity - Powderfinger
So THAT's why my video already has 2 views.

A Quick One, While He's Away - The Who
What's the last CD you bought/got?

Nice - not in my top 5 Tull albums, but I love Fat Man.
I haven't bought any albums recently because I acquired lots of albums as mp3s for free recently. This includes just about every album from The White Stripes, Radiohead, Muse, QotSA and The Strokes. I still haven't listened to most of them yet.
