I recently read an interesting comment on youtube, about how Blur often chose the wrong songs as singles (see Girls&Boys, CountryHouse, ...), while their arguably best ones weren't considered
I couldn't agree more. I don't like Girls & Boys, Country House and a few other songs they released as singles. A few album tracks I've heard from Blur are better.
Back to the topic:
The Low Spark Of High-Heeled Boys - Traffic
I've been listening to this song more than any other song for the past few months.

If I said this wasn't my favourite band of the '80s, I'd be lying through my teeth:
Bow River - Cold Chisel (1982)
If I said this wasn't my favourite (non-Cold Chisel) song of the '80s, I'd be lying through my teeth:

No and no. But edna is pretty much right with the decade. Think 1971-1977.
-
Nope.

Dave Navarro?

The first one I thought of was The Boys In The Band by Gentle Giant, though the saxophone is only one of many instruments that play a very important part in that instrumental.
Oh, you said easy going. Sorry.

I'm sure anyone who noticed that I voted for eight of the top ten songs would know I was being sarcastic in my previous post.
This is the first Top Ten ever where every song on the list is on my iPod.

^ Interesting... I have no idea what you are supposed to do if someone marks a comment as spam when it isn't.

Even though I've heard that song about 100 times before and remember all the lyrics, I didn't realise the picture was about that song until you mentioned it. I are slow.

One of the cutest puppies I've ever seen AND one of the cutest puppy names I've ever heard. Nice.
-
Terrible. Worst list ever.

It's interesting to notice it took this long for the greatest hip hop song of all time to make the top ten.
I'm also happy to see Beat It and Plush finally make the top ten. I'm listening to The Message right now to celebrate the good result.

People outside of the United States probably won't get the humor.
I get it. Mostly because here in Australia we get more coverage of the US elections than our own elections, and pretty much no coverage of any other country's elections. Why? Who knows.

One of the most important things to remember about YouTube is that more than half of the people who leave comments can count the number of brain cells they have on one hand. Ignore them.

Go Tim!

And it serves 'em right for dissing Neil Young.

It worked for me. I really like it, especially your style of guitar and banjo playing and the very meaningful lyrics.
