  1. Martin did a pretty good job there. It is a disease (hence the "coniosis") caused by the inhalation from the air (hence the "pneumo") of very small (hence the "ultramicroscopic") silica particles (hence the "silico"). Not sure where the "volcano" comes from though. :P

Sammy will have to appear eventually... :P

  2. 1. Paranoid Android - Radiohead (It's prog rock, yet it is quite different from any prog rock song released before it).

    2. November Rain - Guns N' Roses (This, on the other hand, is quite similar to '60s and '70s symphonic prog. Yet lots of people like this but don't like '60s and '70s symphonic prog. I'll never understand that. I still love this song, though. I've rambled on way too long about this song).

    3. Rooster - Alice in Chains

    4. Jeremy - Pearl Jam

    5. Teardrop - Massive Attack

    6. Under The Bridge - Red Hot Chili Peppers

    7. No Rain - Blind Melon

    8. Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm - Crash Test Dummies

    9. December - Collective Soul

    10. One - U2

Oh, the pain, the pain of it all! Honourable mentions go to, well, pretty much every other song on the list.

  3. Another anagram for the same song:

We Dealt Torn Luxury, Nobility of He, Elite Chris - Nectar Permeates Chris

Ignore the commas. It's pretty easy to include your name in both anagrams if you've got plenty of letters to choose from, especially if you have a short name like mine.

  4. 1.What music were you obsessed with in High School?

Linkin Park were my favourite band through most of high school, but I didn't really pay much attention to music back then. That all changed when I bought Led Zeppelin Remasters in my final year.

2.What's the last album you bought on somebody's recommendation?

I don't remember ever buying an album on a direct recommendation, but Dappled indirectly made up my mind to buy Shine On Brightly by Procol Harum. And I love it!

3.Who comes after Wilco on you iPod?

I don't have much on my iPod at the moment, since I just transferred my iTunes to a new computer without transferring all the music yet. I don't have Wilco on my iPod, but I do have three White Stripes albums in mp3 format (none of which I paid for).

EDIT: Wow, it took me this long to realise The White Stripes (and The Who, for that matter) are before Wilco in alphabetical order, even when you remove the "The". I are so stipud. My first artist after Wilco would be Wolfmother.

    4.Do you have a go-to karaoke song?

Most people would say it is Duncan by Slim Dusty. No, really. Though I would love to find someone to sing Bow River with as a duet. I could sing either Barnesy or Mossy's part.

5.Give me a playlist on your iPod.

My most used playlist is simply called "Long Songs". The longest track on it is Providence by Godspeed You! Black Emperor (29:02), and the longest two-track song is Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield (48:57).

6.Is there a song that you consider torture to listen to?

    My Humps

7.What was the last song that made you cry?

Music can make me feel very emotional, but it has never made me cry. The song that makes me feel most emotional is probably Supper's Ready by Genesis.

  5. You got me again!

Also, this thread has more posts than views at the moment. I wasn't sure if that was even possible.

    Farin? :P

EDIT: Sorry, I guess my ramblings helped Laurie post ahead of me.

  6. This is a simple game I've seen on other forums. It may sound kind of lame, but I think it's fun. :P

All you need to do is:

    1. Guess which Songfactor will make the next post in this thread. You are allowed use "Online Now" to help you.

    2. If you view this thread, you must make a post to say whether or not the guesser was correct (unless you were the previous guesser). Then you must make a guess yourself.

I am guessing that the next post will be by:

    Farin
