  1. The first time I saw Rocky Horror was at a midnight showing my first year in college. I was hooked and saw it many times after that, and always midnight showings. That was in Columbus and I'm not sure if the theatre still has the midnight showings. I remember the first time I saw it, when I got home I was shaking rice out of my bra and hair, but didn't care!

  2. When We Two Parted ~ George Gordon, Lord Byron

    When we two parted

    In silence and tears,

    Half broken-hearted

    To sever for years,

Pale grew thy cheek and cold,

    Colder thy kiss;

    Truly that hour foretold

    Sorrow to this.

    The dew of the morning

Sunk chill on my brow —

    It felt like the warning

    Of what I feel now.

    Thy vows are all broken,

    And light is thy fame:

    I hear thy name spoken,

    And share in its shame.

    They name thee before me,

    A knell to mine ear;

    A shudder comes o'er me —

    Why wert thou so dear?

They know not I knew thee,

Who knew thee too well: —

Long, long shall I rue thee,

    Too deeply to tell.

    In secret we met —

    In silence I grieve,

    That thy heart could forget,

    Thy spirit deceive.

    If I should meet thee

    After long years,

How should I greet thee? —

    With silence and tears.

  3. I agree with you Edna about the rare exceptions. I do have a friend, well friends that are married and have been for years and they act like two teenagers in love at times and just fit together perfectly. Yeah they have ups and downs but seem to get through them ok. But as you said a rare exception.

People look down on me because my little girls Dad and I aren't married, but that isn't what we want, we are trying to raise a little girl together the best we can, and being married would add problems for our situation. And to get married just to look appropriate to others isn't the solution. I mean I didn't want to marry him before I had her, why would I want to now! :P

  4. Hey, don´t get maried... You avoid further complications with lawyers and papers that are yet less understandable than what you hear when you get maried.

If you need a ceremony and a piece of paper to confirm your love, then marry, but having those things won't guarantee it will last. I know more people that are happy living together than I do people who are married and living together. And the funny part, most of the ones that I know who are married, have cheated. So I guess they really didn't care what vows were spoken. :P

  5. I feel great lyrics are ones that move the person listening. Whether they make you cry, laugh, or just think about what the artist is saying...as in political based tunes. Lyrics are what draw me to a song, I've always been a lyric reader when I would buy an album. It's wonderful to hear a song and feel that the artists has seen into your soul. Are they poetic, sure to some extent...but are they poems, probably not what one would consider a "true poem", but they can have the feel of poetry within.

  6. bazooka I love Boz! When I saw him in concert I was like man, this is just awesome!

He is an artist that is under-rated, gets lost in the shuffle of music out there, and he deserves a spotlight. I would love to see him and Steve Miller get together again and do an album and tour.

Here's a couple of my favs...

    Sick and Tired

    Hard Times (Rescue Me)

I love all his music, I have most of his albums. Thanks for bringing him to the spotlight! And he's from Ohio...we sure know how to make 'em here...LOL! :D

  7. Das, you could be on to something...

There have been other episodes in the past that we were left going, huh?? So this could be a possiblity, and with this show...the sky is the limit and beyond.

Would be wild if they do dig up the diamonds and the bodies are gone! :P
