  1. Thanks, Carole. I'm glad you can see again. :) How are you and Blue doing? Would love to get together soon. I think Jimmy Cliff is playing at Del Mar?

Speaking of which; where is a Lucky/Blue photo? Has anyone here ever seen those two in the same place, at the same time.

A photo would sure clear up the mystery ... ;)

  2. Certainly keep posting, Ray, if you have something to say. Don't wait on anyone else to help you say it, especially me.

(I just got back from a couple months in the states - things are brewing. I'll reappear alongside you soon.)

  3. Love it. Love the real life drama of witnessing winning and losing, after so much time for preparation put in by each participant.

Also seeing all the nationalities represented and people from each nation striving for a single positive purpose is extremely heartwarming.

  4. now here's a random thought for you:

"That’s a neat coincidence I’ve never noticed before— A cubic mile happens to be almost exactly 4×π×r^2 cubic kilometers, so a sphere with a radius of X kilometers has the same volume as a cube that’s X miles on each side."

A form of consensus among the systems .... finally.

  5. Amish country is now on my list! :) I hadn't thought of Ohio, though. I thought they were only in Pennsylvania (I'm so ignorant).

    So far the list includes:

    Amish Country

Pennsylvania, Ohio AND Indiana all have large communities of Amish.

  6. His identity should have been sealed from the press since day one. The guy is already media famous beyond anything he could have hoped for as a member of the scientific community. I read that he ".. now holds the record for U.S. mass murder attack."

And responsible people wonder why these acts of horror are perpetrated ...

  7. His I Started A Joke (he wrote it while on an airplane) is still one of the best ballads among music critics, according to RS magazine.

Along with Orbison and a short list of others, his was a most distinctively unique voice that helped define the legitimacy of early pop music.

Even in his 60`s, he retained his ability to hit soaring high notes, evidenced through his final appearances on stage. We lost a great one.
