Sweet Jane 61
I just watched For The Love of the Game, with Kevin Costner, ok movie but there was a song near the end that I liked, yes I looked at the soundtrack and it is not on there...the only lyric I can remember is something like "it doesn't matter" and it was a male voice and is some ways sounded like Garth Brooks. Not sure though if it was him, I listened to all the songs on the soundtrack and none listed were that song. Any help is greatly appreciated. logan01
There was a Bob Dylan song in the movie and left off the soundtrack titled "I Threw It All Away". I once held her in my arms, She said she would always stay. But I was cruel, I treated her like a fool, I threw it all away. Once I had mountains in the palm of my hand, And rivers that ran through ev'ry day. I must have been mad, I never knew what I had, Until I threw it all away. Love is all there is, it makes the world go 'round, Love and only love, it can't be denied. No matter what you think about it You just won't be able to do without it. Take a tip from one who's tried. So if you find someone that gives you all of her love, Take it to your heart, don't let it stray, For one thing that's certain, You will surely be a-hurtin', If you throw it all away. Note: If it is this song, make sure you get the 2003 remastered Nashville Skyline album version, or, I can post it for you. bluesboy
Could it possibly be the Garth Brooks song It Don't Matter To The Sun ... Garth as Chris Gaines. It don't matter to the sun If you go or if you stay You know the sun is gonna rise And shine down on another day There'll still be a tomorrow Even if you choose to leave 'Cause it don't matter to the sun, oh baby It matters to me It ain't gonna stop the world If you walk out that door This old world will just keep on turning 'round, Turning 'round Like it did the day before You see to them it makes no difference, ohh) They just keeps on keepin' time 'Cause it ain't gonna stop the world, out there But it'll be the end of mine What can I say What can I do I'm still in love So why aren't you? (Instrumental solo) Hmm hmm hmm, oh yeah, oh yeah What can I say What can I do I'm still in love So why aren't you? It don't matter the moon If you're not in my life No the moon will just keep hangin' 'round, hangin' 'round Like it's just another night Find another place to shine down On some other lovers' dreams 'Cause it don't matter the moon, oh baby But it sure do matter to me No it don't matter to the moon, oh baby But it matters to me Here's a 7 day audio file.
