Whether these are one hit wonders is open to debate, depending what country you're in, but here goes (from my British perspective):

60s - "96 Tears" - ? & The Mysterians

70s - "I Can't Stand The Rain" - Ann Peebles

80s - "Echo Beach" - Martha & The Muffins

90s - "A Nanny In Manhattan" - The Lilys

00s - "Soldier Girl" - Polyphonic Spree [i think they might've had one other minor hit...and the decade is still young...]

My favourite no-hit wonder is Jefferson Airplane: "White Rabbit", an amazing record which was totally ignored here in the UK.

"Eve of Destruction" by Barry McGuire

"People Who Died" by the Jim Carroll Band

"Turning Japanese" by the Vapors

"Fantasy" by Aldo Nova

"Nonstop to Nowhere" by Faster Pussycat (they actually had a couple more that were pretty good).

I definetly don't call Buffalo Springfield a 1 hit wonder.

The fact that they have a greatest hits album defeats it. They are absolutely amazing!anything from them

A lot of one hit wonders have "greatest hits" compilations. Even Taco has one =:P

Head East; (like Sammy had mentioned above) they had a few good songs, such as Since You?ve Been Gone & Love Me Tonight, but the only song that ever receives any radio airplay is Never Been Any Reason, which I recently heard on the classic rock station a few nights ago, on my way home. It?s a shame too, because this band had a lot of potential to make a long catalog of hit songs.
