Super Ry 71 Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Well, I'm done with my whole avatar project. Kevin was okay with the idea, but I'm a little afraid to see what his avatar looks like inversed. So I think that this weekend was a good stopping point. I'll have a new one up by Sunday evening. On another point, anybody like my new sig?
Levis Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Isn't that from that wiki article Kevin posted? Meta jokes?
Super Ry 71 Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Isn't that from that wiki article Kevin posted? Meta jokes? Yes it is. Some particular something caught me about that joke, so I thought it worthy.
Farin Posted November 3, 2007 Report Posted November 3, 2007 Bill Bailey thank you, now why didn't I think of going to wikipedia?
Super Ry 71 Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 It sucks when your only comfort is the desert.
MarcM Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 i LIKE THE DESERT. i LIKE DESSERT MORE, THOUGH.
skybluesky Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Somewhere Kevin is coming up with so many cops and doughnut jokes, his head is exploding.
skybluesky Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 S/s wonders if every cliche is really grounded in truth...
MuzikTyme Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 S/s wonders if every cliche is really grounded in truth... Interesting to ponder. It's very well known or somewhat believed, that myths, being early Greek or otherwise, were based on actual, true events. Now, who's to say what's true in history or what is false? Common sense, truly, is the only key which unlocks these mysteries of contemplation. Sad, that common sense is the one thing a person will never learn; they either have it or they don't . . .
Shawna Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 where'd you get that picture of me, Martin? As Sam Kinison said, "You live in the *(%%* DESERT!" (which in my case is 100% correct)
Shawna Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Sad, that common sense is the one thing a person will never learn; they either have it or they don't . . . Equally sad and no less true: an incompetent person is unaware that they are incompetent.
Uncle Joe Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 **Equally sad and no less true: an incompetent person is unaware that they are incompetent. **At least until we tell 'em.
MuzikTyme Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Refreshing, though; any person that wonders if they are insane aren't.
_Laurie_ Posted November 5, 2007 Author Report Posted November 5, 2007 And when your schizophrenic you're never alone...
MuzikTyme Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Hey, reckon it beats being lonely, hmmm?
Sweet Jane 61 Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Refreshing, though; any person that wonders if they are insane aren't. Oh so I must keep wondering then?
MuzikTyme Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 That, as well as never answer yourself in your own conversation because simply, you already know the answer. But at the same time never stop wondering! It is the key to creativity and evolution. Long ago, I wondered through my mind . . .
Sweet Jane 61 Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 I noticed the comments about meetings in the shout box. Every Wednesday we have a meeting at work called P & G or praises and gripes. Now the praises are great, you can say something good about anyone at work. The gripes, well...you can voice your gripe about anything, and we all do, but nothing seems to come of voicing them, which was the whole point of the meetings...to find solutions to the gripes. So basically you want to gripe about the gripes!
