blind-fitter
Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand and his fiancee Rebecca Ellison have arranged for a barn owl to swoop down the aisle and deliver their rings in a velvet pouch when they get married in August. (Daily Mirror) Did you ever hear of anything more ridiculous in your entire life?

MuzikTyme
Betrunken really is a fantastic word. I've always been intrigued by the word: "Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis." "Methionylthreonylthreonyl...isoleucine" also has an interesting phenomenon. The reason for the ellipsis is because Methionylthreonylthreonyl...isoleucine has 189,819 letters; far too many to write here even if I did have the patience to spell an almost 190,000 letter word! I'm also told that it'd take about three minutes just to pronounce it! (funny how the largest word in the human language is in fact the largest protein) An honorable mention to Shakespeare's: "Honorificabilitudinitatibus" "The eye of man hath not heard, the ear of man hath not seen, man's hand is not able to taste, his tongue to conceive, nor his heart to report, what my dream was." P.S. You know when a word is too long when you try to write it and it comes up with a space between it.

MuzikTyme
There was once a very convincing, petite fortune teller that was dishonest. She got caught but escaped prison, luckily. Needless to say that she's paying for her dishonesty because she's still on the run. She was actually in the local newspaper, recently. The caption (headline) read: Small Medium at Large!
