Viaene
Otto Frederick Rohwedder is considered to be the father of sliced bread. In 1912 Rohwedder started work on inventing a machine that sliced bread, but bakeries were reluctant to use it since they were concerned the sliced bread would go stale. It was not until 1928, when Rohwedder invented a machine that both sliced and wrapped the bread, that sliced bread caught on. A bakery in Chillicothe, Missouri was the first to use this machine to produce sliced bread. I guess the band wasn't so old after all
TheLizard
And now I'm officially a high school graduate. If you'll excuse me, I have some partying to do. And before sliced bread, it was "the best thing since the portable chamber pot".
MuzikTyme
Before sliced bread it was, " ... the greatest thing since the sopping cup." I looked twice on the above and my mind said,"Yeah!!!" Just think what it was like before King Sandwich. You know, the first king that ever put something between two broken-off-stale pieces of bread? Many have wish sandwiches along with the come-along-and-meeting bun. Without sesame seeds. Or the one that bounces off the wall and right back into yer mouth...? Bow, bow, bow. Levis
Definitely not after school And all I got after college was an internship (ugh) and an acceptance letter from an Australian university. Cultural differences? It's not really a big deal to be done with school in India... you just go straight to college. Ho-hum.
