kidnamedshaun Posted September 19, 2007 Report Share Posted September 19, 2007 Hey I have been a big fan of Alicia Keyes, Lauren Hill, and Nelly Furtado's style of music for quite sometime now. I recently heard about this band called Rue Melo through my friend. I have really got into them lately and they have this nice sort of Latin/French/ Reggae feel to them that I really like. The lead Signer was born in Paris and can speak both French and Spanish, which is really awesome to hear. A lot of our regulars probably won't go for it, as it is hop-hop, but it has a great latin/reggae beat to it. Also, they're playing real instruments.
