Your first time in a car.

I never did it in a car   ...my friends were rich spoilt kids and their parents were never home...

Your first time with a computer.

Umm, I don't really do that cyber-sex thing. Oh, you mean using a PC?

Though my wife still respects me I really misuse her

and I am having an affair with a random computer

don't you know I'm a 2000 man?

Rocking Alone In An Old Rocking Chair - Arnold Eddy?

But sang by my biological unit.

Gotta add the lyrics. Most likely no one else knows it.

Sitting alone in an old rocking chair

I saw an old mother with silvery hair

She seemed so neglected by those who should care

Rocking alone in an old rocking chair

Her hands were all callused and wrinkled and old

A life of hard work was the story they told

And I thought of angels as I saw her there

Rocking alone in an old rocking chair

Bless her old heart, do you think she'd complain

Though life has been bitter she'd live it again

And carry that cross that is more than her share

Rocking alone in an old rocking chair

It wouldn't take much just to gladden her heart

Just some small remembrance on somebody's part

A letter would brighten her empty life there

Rocking alone in an old rocking chair

I know some youngsters in an orphans' home

Who'd think they owned heaven if she was their own

They'd never be willing to let her sit there

Rocking alone in an old rocking chair

I look at her and I think "What a shame"

The ones who forgot her she loves just the same

And I think of angels as I see her there

Rocking alone in an old rocking chair

Gotta ask that one again ;)

"Beep Beep" by The Playmates

[Very Slow]

While riding in my Cadillac,

What to my surprise.

A little Nash Rambler was following me -

About one third my size.

The guy must’ve wanted to pass me up

As he kept on tooting his horn. Beep! Beep!

I’ll show him that a Cadillac

Is not a car to scorn.

Beep beep. Beep! Beep! Beep beep. Beep! Beep!

His horn went beep beep beep. Beep! Beep!

[slow]

I pushed my foot down to the floor

To give the guy the shake.

But the little Nash Rambler stayed right behind;

He still had on his brake.

He must have thought his car had more guts

As he kept on tooting his horn. Beep! Beep!

I’ll show him that a Cadillac

Is not a car to scorn.

Beep beep. Beep! Beep! Beep beep. Beep! Beep!

His horn went beep beep beep. Beep! Beep!

[Normal]

My car went into passing gear

And we took off with gust.

Soon we were doing ninety -

Must’ve left him in the dust.

When I peeked in the mirror of my car,

I couldn’t believe my eyes:

The little Nash Rambler was right behind -

I think that guy could fly.

Beep beep. Beep! Beep! Beep beep. Beep! Beep!

His horn went beep beep beep.

[Faster]

Now we’re doing a hundred and ten -

This certainly was a race.

For a Rambler to pass a Caddy

Would be a big disgrace.

The guy must’ve wanted to pass me up

As he kept on tooting his horn.

I’ll show him that a Cadillac

Is not a car to scorn.

Beep beep. Beep! Beep! Beep beep. Beep! Beep!

His horn went beep beep beep.

[Fastest]

Now we’re doing a hundred and twenty -

As fast as I could go.

The Rambler pulled along side of me

As if we were going slow.

The fellow rolled down his window

And yelled for me to hear,

“Hey, Buddy, how can I get this car

Out of second gear?!â€

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!

(The family car was a Plymouth, and the only Cadillac I ever owned was a large plastic toy!)

Continue...?

"Don't Be Cruel" ~ Elvis

My mom was an Elvis fan and had a bunch of 45s we used to play on our little record player. I used to think he was singing, "If you can't come around, at least please tell the phone."

Name the first Elvis song you heard - or the one that you remember as being the first.
