Paul McCartney Checks Out New York Yankees Game

The former Beatle cheered in the first row behind home plate Wednesday night.

Rocker Paul McCartney stunned sports fans in New York on Wednesday night - by coming out to watch a New York Yankees game.

The former Beatle was in the crowd, cheering in the first row behind home plate, at Yankee Stadium to watch the Yankees play fierce rivals the Boston Red Sox.

McCartney was greeted with a huge cheer and applause when the stadium announcer revealed he was in attendance, and he took the time to sign autographs.

The singer's presence must have helped because the Yankees beat the Red Sox, 4-3.

That´s not that bad... he´s done worse things. Listen to most of his solo carrer, for instance... :P

With the exception of his great album, "Band on the Run," I agree. I could never see any record label release his solo poop if he wasn't part of the greatest band in the world.
