^ Sympathy for the Devil?

GnR's version is good, but no where near as great as the original.

However their cover of Knockin' On Heaven's Door is pretty freaking good.

Stevie Wonder - "We Can Work It Out" is in my opinion the biggest improvement of an already popular song, and that's saying a lot since the original was by the Beatles.

That and EWF's "Got To Get You Into My Life" are the only Beatles covers that I would consider improvements.

This may be blasphemous to some, but I think Seven Nations' cover of "Under The Milky Way" is far superior to the original. I can't find good audio for it online, so you'll just have to take my word for it. :P

(The version from "Seven Nations" is the one I am referring to, not the one from "Big Dog", although that one is good too.)

and...I just heard "Laugh at me" originally by Sonny Bono but covered by Mott the Hoople... Ian Hunter gives this song it's place...both versions are good but Mott the Hoople's (Ian Hunter) really puts some kick too it... :coolio:

Because it's not Al Green, it's a BeeGee's cover. He did his thing with it, and that's great, but "his thing" wasn't meant for that song. Just my opinion, I love Al Green, but not this time.
