Super Ry 71
I'm starting to feel better, but here's something I just whipped up, based on my sadness from a bit ago. It also has four musicial references; guess what they are. I got the knack for some killin’ blues… Got fear resting on my shoulder, A grain of sadness pearched under my skin ‘Money For Nothing’ plays over and over and over In my head, I’m so angry I’d even kill my next of kin And I’ve got a knack for those killin’ blues Sorrow’s so shallow I got a waterfall coming out, ready to burn your skin I can see detail in between your lines, I’m under eighteen, so take my gun and why don’t you go ahead And shoot me there Still got the knack for some killin’ blues Want to cuss out loud Barriers block everything out Send everything back in- To the world, ready to process me Just because I’m different. Got pain inside my shoulders, Aches burrow into my brain Remember what Mr. Roger said, ‘Rearrange my ‘til I’m sane.’ And no longer a knack for the killin’ blues. Rayzor
I like this Ry!! Being down can bring out the greatest poetry/song-writing if the depressed person is able to put pen to paper! I would love to hear this as a Stevie Ray Vaughan single!
_Laurie_
Good job Ry....I agree, sounds like it would be a good SRV tune!
