RonJonSurfer Posted July 30, 2007 Report Share Posted July 30, 2007 I went to the first game of the Mets doubleheader at Shea Stadium on Saturday...a noon start. The National Anthem was performed by Darlene Love. She was in great voice and only forgot one entire verse of The Star-Spangled Banner. Actually, she simply omitted it...she may have remembered the words, but just didn't sing them. Alyssa Milano was there too. Promoting a sports clothing line or something like that. She's a big baseball fan. When the Mets played the LA dodgers last week, she was in the stands every night. She also stayed for the entire double header at Shea.
