johnny
....yes I'm looking for songs with "la-la"'s in them. At the moment I can only think of the Simple Minds "Don't You Forget About Me" and "La La Love You" by the Pixies.... The reason for this is because I want to have a "La-La" playlist....is that wierd?

johnny
i just started the la-la's "sister" post, "clap-clap". "clap-clap" is probably much easier than "la-la"....

Farin
I don't know if you're interested in non-english music but "Der Lustige Astronaut" (the merry astronaut) by Die Ärzte, has quite a long "la-la" passage at the end - especially played live it can take 10 minutes or so (with a little help from the audience )

Tenacious_Peaches
okay im sorta new to songfacts, is peaches some godly figure in this forum? Hi johnny! I am the aforementioned Peaches and I am the polar opposite of godly, but I love my SF family speaking so kindly of me. I can't believe I am saying this out loud, but the first thing I thought of was "La La" by Ashlee Simpson. She generally makes me want to gouge out my eardrums with a rusty spork, but I kinda like that song. Ugh, I know.

blind-fitter
"Banana Splits" by The Dickies was the first thing that sprang to mind. Strictly speaking, that's "Tra-la-la", but you do get plenty of la-las for your money...
