ambrosejones
I was listening to Sirius for one of the first times yesterday and heard on channel 1, a song that was very "fun" if you will. Sounded like a song you would hear if you were shopping at Abercrombie and Fitch. Kind of like a sunny day kind of thing. Totally lost on this though cause I don't know who sung it, couldn't hear alot of the lyrics cause I was on a boat at the time, but I could tell it was a fairly new song. Thanks so much, I hope I get a couple of possible ideas.
ambrosejones
Well, still no luck on the song, but ironically they did play it at the intro of the All-Star Baseball Game. I did finally catch a line of it..."Time of your life". Though I do know that it's not the Green Day song. Any help would be great, thanks. MindCrime
Is it by a female singer? There's an Alanis Morissette song with that title. It's not new though, it's from her 1995 album Jagged Little Pill. Standing there on a road that leads to anywhere Like a child left in the wilderness, standing there penniless Wanting to be the best Here's a place where life runs at a different pace Where love is just convenient, none are obedient And we are subservient Look at me, I'm a girl that some may preconceive Why do they try and generalize, why are they antagonizing me But something I can't control that... Chorus: I WANTCHA You know I'll never stop 'til I've GOTCHA You'll never be quite the same when I ROCK YA I'm not the kind of girl that you thought I was You'll have a good time 'cause I WANTCHA I'm breaking down the walls 'till I have you, feel you Show you the time of your life Here we are and I wonder how we've come this far In a world that does not recognize women are victimized What does that symbolize Why do I want the things I usually criticize It may be self destructiveness, or maybe it's emptiness inside But something I can't control that... Repeat Chorus You'll have a good time... It's a lonely road, and no one knows the way that I feel I'm not giving up now... I'll never try to justify They'll never understand, you'll be a happy man You'll have the time of your life It's something, it's something, it's something that I can't control The time of your life... ambrosejones
Thanks for the thought, but no, it's a male singing. Sounds like an "LFO" kind of song. That's what it reminds me of anyways. I appreciate the effort though, thanks ::
Jenny
How about this one by 98 degrees (late '90's boy band which had Nick Lachey in it) One Night (Una Noche) Your lips keep tellin' me you want me Hold me close all through the night And I know deep inside you need me And no one else can make it right Don't you try to hide your secrets I can see it in your eyes You said the words without speaking Now I'm gonna make you mine Chorus: Give me just one night, una noche A moment to be by your side Give me just one night, una noche I'll give you the time of your life The time of your life Oh baby yeah Your eyes of passion make me crazy Your existence makes me wild I want to loosen up your feelings See what's hiding inside Chorus Time of your life ooh yeh ooh baby Ay, que rico Oh, how good Me pone loca You make me crazy Como te mueve How you move Como me toca How you touch me Tu movimiento Your movement Tu sentimiento Your feeling Si, yo te quiero Yes, I love you Te doy la noche I'll give you the night Toda la noche All night long Ay, vamos Let's go Give me just one night Give me one night baby A moment to be by your side Give me just one night oh baby I'll give you the time of your life (chorus x 2) The time of your life The time of your life
ambrosejones
Thanks, another good guess. But that's not it either. I pretty much know it's a new, if not brand new song. Which is why many people don't know it yet. I truly appreciate the help, and maybe someone will hear a new pop song on the radio today and be able to help me out. Thanks so much though, it's really appreciated.
