Shawna Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Thanks everyone. I did it! I somehow managed to get through the ceremony without barfing or tripping across the stage. *whew* but the really hard part was sitting and listening to all those dang speeches ahead of time.
skybluesky Posted December 13, 2010 Author Report Posted December 13, 2010 No offense Peaches, but if no one pantsed the Dean and shouted "Baba Booey, Baba Booey" then your ceremony sucked.
bluesboy Posted January 9, 2012 Report Posted January 9, 2012 Again, My Love Magic Sam I Just Want A Little Bit
Kevin1429030929 Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) I wanna dedicate this to the Lizard ( for no reason other than its fcked up and I think he'll appreciate that ) , who tells me he will be graduating in May . Very well done , my good sir. May the wind always blow at your front -cause that's where the action is at -never look back , unless she's kinky like that , then maybe its cool... *sniff * (Anyone remember when he was still 5 and could hardly spell, but he looked so cute in those fiddle videos ? ...ah ...anyway ) Go ND ! Rayzor Posted March 14, 2012 Report Posted March 14, 2012 A little song for Laurie from a band appearing on Midnight Special (March 3, 1973) And another Midnight Special for Shawna :guitar: And I'll not forget my other lovely ladies at SF! Edna, Carol, Sue, Kari, Jenny, Radhi, Lea and others who haven't been around... a classic tune sung by another beauty!
Shawna Posted March 14, 2012 Report Posted March 14, 2012 And another Midnight Special for Shawna :guitar: you just put a huge smile on my face.
Rayzor Posted March 14, 2012 Report Posted March 14, 2012 I thought you'd like that! ps: were you reading his lips during the talking guitar part! Naughty!
Rayzor Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 Here's something for the KISS fans out there... "Duece" Midnight Special - Kiss And Martin may like this tune "Denkmal" Live 2004 - Wir Sind Helden
Farin Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 And Martin may like this tune "Denkmal" Live 2004 - Wir Sind Helden That's a very good translation in this vid. Wir Sind Helden, and especially singer Judith Holofernes (biblical reference, btw), had and still have one of the healthiest attitudes when it comes to fame and the music as an industry I've seen.
Lucky Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 For Rayzor - just because it's fun, especially at 1am. And because he's such a sweetheart. Brownsville Station Come to think of it, Mr Tim might enjoy it this week as well.
_Laurie_ Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 A little song for Laurie from a band appearing on Midnight Special (March 3, 1973) Thank you Ray!....you're such a charmer
Rayzor Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 Martian Boogie! Haven't heard that forever! Thanks! :happybanana: Laurie, I should warn you: I am french and as you know I'm Canadian, so that means I'm a very polite and charming man.
Rayzor Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 To my SF girlfriends Portions For Foxes - Rilo Kiley There's blood in my mouth 'cause I've been biting my tongue all week I keep on talking trash but I never say anything And the talking leads to touching And the touching leads to sex And then there is no mystery left... I know I'm alone if I'm with or without you But just being around you offers me a form of relief When the loneliness leads to bad dreams And the bad dreams lead me to calling you And I call you and say "Come here!"... :guitar:
TheLizard Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 ^ Great song. And Jenny Lewis is my girl.
Brad_M Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 Thanks for posting the Kiss song, Rayzor. Here's something in return from a fellow beer lover. "I Like Beer" - Tom T. Hall (Live Version) Vintage Beer Commercials Part 1 of 6 Vintage Beer Commercials Part 2 of 6 Vintage Beer Commercials Part 3 of 6 Vintage Beer Commercials Part 4 of 6 Vintage Beer Commercials Part 5 of 6 Vintage Beer Commercials Part 6 of 6
Rayzor Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Well... I don't know if this applies in any other country but Canada... but all the same here's a tune to celebrate 420. Because I Got High For anyone who's wondering what 420 is... the simple version is pot is still technically illegal so this is the one day every year when they gather and smoke up together on the parliament steps. Apart from the odd freak-out things are usually peaceful. Of course, I've never seen police make an arrest for weed on any day.
TheLizard Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 We celebrate here too. But right now I'm waiting for a guy who's waiting for a guy who's waiting for a guy. It's not looking good. South Bend, Indiana is not exactly a hot spot for such shenanigans.
Rayzor Posted April 22, 2012 Report Posted April 22, 2012 (edited) For my girls here at SF When the night has come And I'm all alone And I have some time to breath So much damage done I guess nobody won Is it to late to make you see I love you Oh darling Yes I really do I love you Oh darling Yes I really do I know very well How it got this way I was drifting on my cloud There isn't much to tell Except you've gone away And darling now I'm reaching out I love you Let me show you How I really do I love you Oh darling You gotta know it's true I wish that I had you now The way that I had you then Darling, I'd take you and hold you and kiss you Over and over again Oooh Oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh Umm umm umm umm umm Oooh oooh oooh Maybe we can try To get back to that place When passion made us wild No more alibis Standing face to face You will see it in my eyes I love you - oh my darling You should know it's true I love you Oh let me tell you How much I really do Oh darling You know I really love you Edited April 22, 2012 by Guest
bluesboy Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 I dedicate this to Lucky... Look At Us - Vince Gill
Lucky Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 :inlove: How sweet - love you too big man! :inlove:
CanAm Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 Since it' s my wife's birthday and Mothers Day this weekend, I dedicate this song to her. "YOU" You are the one who makes me happy When everything else turns to gray Yours is the voice that wakes me mornings And sends me out into the day You are the crowd that sits quiet listening to me And all the mad sense that I make You are one of the few things worth remembering And since it's all true How could anyone mean more to me than you? Sorry if sometimes I look past you There's no one beyond your eyes Inside my head the wheels are turning Hey, sometimes I' m not so wise You are my heart and my soul, my inspiration Just like the old love song goes You are one of the few things worth remembering And since it's all true How could anyone mean more to me than you? This is a relatively unknown gem recorded by The Carpenters, but it's the beautiful version by Jane Olivor that I'm dedicating to my wife.
