I dedicate this one, well...to me. Who else?

Darren Hayes Strange Relationship lyrics

Do you love me?

Or am I just another trip in this strange relationship?

You push and pull me

and I'm about to loose my mind

Is this just a waste of time

keep acting like you own me

I keep running, watch me walking out that door

I hear you behind me

Gimme that strange relationship

Never felt pleasure and pain like this

Something so right but it feels so terribly wrong

I keep holding on

Gimme that strange relationship

One of us gotta let go of this

I keep pushing and you keep holding on

I'm already gone

Do you love me?

We break up and back together

And I swore to myself never

Oh how you do me

You strip me of my honor

And I don't ever think I'm gonna

Break free of these mind games

All I'm trying to do is modify my plan

'Cause I can't contain you

Gimme that strange relationship

Never felt pleasure and pain like this

Something so right but it feels so terribly wrong

I keep holding on

Gimme that strange relationship

One of us gotta let go of this

I keep pushing and you keep holding on

I'm already gone

You keep acting like you own me

I can't control me

You said you never really wanted me back

Well maybe if that's a fact

May I suggest

A brand new plan of attack

And in the fizzle that you're hard to crack

You're way off track

I want you back, I want you gone

Maybe I'm sick of holding on

Do you love me?

Or am I just another trip in this strange relationship?

Gimme that strange relationship

Never felt pleasure and pain like this

Something so right but it feels so terribly wrong

I keep holding on

Gimme that strange relationship

One of us gotta let go of this

I keep pushing and you keep holding on

I'm already gone

For everyone here on SF, we all shine in our own special way!

Everybody Is A Star ~ Sly And The Family Stone

Everybody is a star

Who can rain, chase the dust away

Everybody wants to shine

Ooh, come out on a cloudy day

'Til the sun that loves you proud

When the system tries to bring you down

Every hand to shine tonight

You don't need darkness to do what you think is right

Ba pa-pa-pa ba pa-pa ba ba ba pa-pa ba pa-pa ba pa-pa ba ba ba,

ba-pa ba-pa ba ba, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

Everybody is a star

I can feel it when you shine on me

I love you for who you are

Not the one you feel you need to be

Ever catch a falling star

Ain't no stopping 'til it's in the ground

Everybody is a star

One big circle going round and round

Ba pa-pa-pa ba pa-pa ba ba ba pa-pa ba pa-pa ba pa-pa ba ba ba,

ba-pa ba-pa ba ba, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

Ba pa-pa-pa ba pa-pa ba ba ba pa-pa ba pa-pa ba pa-pa ba ba ba,

ba-pa ba-pa ba ba, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

Ba pa-pa-pa ba pa-pa ba ba ba pa-pa ba pa-pa ba pa-pa ba ba ba,

ba-pa ba-pa ba ba, shine, shine, shine, shine

Tim, with this make you and your fiddle smile?

Charlie Daniels - Devil Went Down to Georgia

The devil went down to Georgia, he was lookin' for a soul to steal.

He was in a bind 'cuz he was way behind and he was willin' to make a deal.

When he came accross this young man sawin' on a fiddle and playin' it hot.

And the devil jumped up on a hickory stump and said, "Boy, let me tell you what."

I guess you didn't know it, but I'm a fiddle player, too.

And if you care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you.

Now, you play a pretty good fiddle, boy, but give the devil his due.

I'll bet a fiddle of gold against your soul, 'cuz I think I'm better than you.

The boy said, "My name's Johhny" and it might be a sin

but I'll take your bet; you're gonna regret, 'cause I'm the best that's ever been.

Johhny, rosin up your bow and play your fiddle hard,

'Cause Hell's broke loose in Georgia, and the devil deals the cards.

And if you win, you'll get this shiny fiddle made of gold,

but if you lose, the devil gets your soul...

The devil opened up his case and he said I'll start this show.

And fire blew from his fingertips as he rosined up his bow.

And he pulled the bow accross the strings and it made an evil hiss.

Then a band of demons joined in and it sounded something like this...

When the devil finished Johnny said Well, you're pretty good, ol' son,

but sit down in that chair right there, and let me show you how it's done.

Fire on the mountain run, boys, run

The devil's in the house of the risin' sun

Chicken in the bread pan, pickin' out dough

Granny, does your dog bite? No, child, no

The devil bowed his head because he knew that he'd beat.

And he laid that golden fiddle on the ground by Johhny's feet.

And Johhny said, devil, just come on back if you ever wanna try again.

I done told you once, you son of a bitch, I'm the best that's ever been.

He played....

Fire on the mountain run, boys, run

The devil's in the house of the risin' sun

Chicken in the bread pan, pickin' out dough

Granny, will your dog bite? No, child, no

One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer ~ George Thorogood

Wanna tell you a story,

About the house-man blues

I come home one Friday,

Had to tell the landlady I'd-a lost my job

She said that don't confront me,

Long as I get my money next Friday

Now next Friday come I didn't get the rent,

And out the door I went

So I goes to the landlady,

I said, "You let me slide?"

I'll have the rent for you in a month.

Next I don't know

So said let me slide it on you know people,

I notice when I come home in the evening

She ain't got nothing nice to say to me,

But for five year she was so nice

Loh' she was lovy-dovy,

I come home one particular evening

The landlady said, "You got the rent money yet?",

I said, "No, can't find no job"

Therefore I ain't got no money to pay the rent

She said "I don't believe you're tryin' to find no job"

Said "I seen you today you was standin' on a corner,

Leaning up against a post"

I said "But I'm tired, I've been walkin' all day"

She said "That don't confront me,

Long as I get my money next Friday"

Now next Friday come I didn't have the rent,

And out the door I went

So I go down the streets,

Down to my good friend's house

I said "Look man I'm outdoors you know,

Can I stay with you maybe a couple days?"

He said "Let me go and ask my wife"

He come out of the house,

I could see it in his face

I know that was no

He said "I don't know man, ah she kinda funny, you know"

I said "I know, everybody funny, now you funny too"

So I go back home

I tell the landlady I got a job, I'm gonna pay the rent

She said "Yeah?" I said "Oh yeah"

And then she was so nice,

Loh' she was lovy-dovy

So I go in my room, pack up my things and I go,

I slip on out the back door and down the streets I go

She a-howlin' about the front rent, she'll be lucky to get any back rent,

She ain't gonna get none of it

So I stop in the local bar you know people,

I go to the bar, I ring my coat, I call the bartender

Said "Look man, come down here", he got down there

So what you want?

One bourbon, one scotch, one beer

Well I ain't seen my baby since I don't know when,

I've been drinking bourbon, whiskey, scotch and gin

Gonna get high man I'm gonna get loose,

Need me a triple shot of that juice

Gonna get drunk don't you have no fear

I want one bourbon, one scotch and one beer

One bourbon, one scotch, one beer

But I'm sitting now at the bar,

I'm getting drunk, I'm feelin' mellow

I'm drinkin' bourbon, I'm drinkin' scotch, I'm drinkin' beer

Looked down the bar, here come the bartender

I said "Look man, come down here"

So what you want?

One bourbon, one scotch, one beer

No I ain't seen my baby since the night before last,

Gotta get a drink man I'm gonna get gassed

Gonna get high man I ain't had enough,

Need me a triple shot of that stuff

Gonna get drunk won't you listen right here,

I want one bourbon, one shot and one beer

One bourbon, one scotch, one beer

Now by this time I'm plenty high,

You know when your mouth a-getting dry you're plenty high

Looked down the bar I say to my bartender

I said "Look man, come down here", he got down there

So what you want this time?

I said "Look man, a-what time is it?"

He said "The clock on the wall say three o'clock

Last call for alcohol, so what you need?"

One bourbon, one scotch, one beer

No I ain't seen my baby since a nigh' and a week,

Gotta get drunk man till I can't even speak

Gonna get high man listen to me,

One drink ain't enough Jack you better make it three

I wanna get drunk I'm gonna make it real clear,

I want one bourbon, one scotch and one beer

One bourbon, one scotch, one beer

or bring you soup when you have a cold...or hang out with you when you are feelin' down...

For friends everywhere...

Friends ~ Led Zeppelin

Bright light almost blinding,

Black night still there shining,

I can't stop, keep on climbing,

Looking for what I knew.

Had a friend, she once told me,

"You got love, you ain't lonely,"

Now she's gone and left me only

Looking for what I knew.

Mmm, I'm telling you now,

The greatest thing you ever can do now,

Is trade a smile with someone who's blue now,

It's very easy just.

Met a man on the roadside crying,

Without a friend, there's no denying,

You're incomplete, they'll be no finding

Looking for what you knew.

So anytime somebody needs you,

Don't let them down, altho' it grieves you,

Some day you'll need someone like they do,

Looking for what you knew.

Mmm, I'm telling you now,

the greatest thing you ever can do now,

Is trade a smile with someone who's blue now,

It's very easy just...ooh, yeah.
