I wanna dedicate this to the Lizard ( for no reason other than its fcked up and I think he'll appreciate that :D ) , who tells me he will be graduating in May .

Very well done , my good sir. May the wind always blow at your front -cause that's where the action is at -never look back , unless she's kinky like that , then maybe its cool...

*sniff * (Anyone remember when he was still 5 and could hardly spell, but he looked so cute in those fiddle videos ? ...ah ...anyway )

Go ND !

A little song for Laurie from a band appearing on Midnight Special (March 3, 1973)

And another Midnight Special for Shawna :guitar:

And I'll not forget my other lovely ladies at SF! Edna, Carol, Sue, Kari, Jenny, Radhi, Lea and others who haven't been around... a classic tune sung by another beauty!

To my SF girlfriends

Portions For Foxes - Rilo Kiley

There's blood in my mouth 'cause I've been biting my tongue all week

I keep on talking trash but I never say anything

And the talking leads to touching

And the touching leads to sex

And then there is no mystery left...

I know I'm alone if I'm with or without you

But just being around you offers me a form of relief

When the loneliness leads to bad dreams

And the bad dreams lead me to calling you

And I call you and say "Come here!"...

:guitar:

Well... I don't know if this applies in any other country but Canada... but all the same here's a tune to celebrate 420.

Because I Got High

For anyone who's wondering what 420 is... the simple version is pot is still technically illegal so this is the one day every year when they gather and smoke up together on the parliament steps.

Apart from the odd freak-out things are usually peaceful. Of course, I've never seen police make an arrest for weed on any day. :hippie:

For my girls here at SF

When the night has come

And I'm all alone

And I have some time to breath

So much damage done

I guess nobody won

Is it to late to make you see

I love you

Oh darling

Yes I really do

I love you

Oh darling

Yes I really do

I know very well

How it got this way

I was drifting on my cloud

There isn't much to tell

Except you've gone away

And darling now I'm reaching out

I love you

Let me show you

How I really do

I love you

Oh darling

You gotta know it's true

I wish that I had you now

The way that I had you then

Darling, I'd take you and hold you and kiss you

Over and over again

Oooh

Oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh

Umm umm umm umm umm

Oooh oooh oooh

Maybe we can try

To get back to that place

When passion made us wild

No more alibis

Standing face to face

You will see it in my eyes

I love you - oh my darling

You should know it's true

I love you

Oh let me tell you

How much I really do

Oh darling

You know I really love you

Since it' s my wife's birthday and Mothers Day this weekend, I dedicate this song to her.

"YOU"

You are the one who makes me happy

When everything else turns to gray

Yours is the voice that wakes me mornings

And sends me out into the day

You are the crowd that sits quiet listening to me

And all the mad sense that I make

You are one of the few things worth remembering

And since it's all true

How could anyone mean more to me than you?

Sorry if sometimes I look past you

There's no one beyond your eyes

Inside my head the wheels are turning

Hey, sometimes I' m not so wise

You are my heart and my soul, my inspiration

Just like the old love song goes

You are one of the few things worth remembering

And since it's all true

How could anyone mean more to me than you?

This is a relatively unknown gem recorded by The Carpenters, but it's the beautiful version by Jane Olivor that I'm dedicating to my wife.
