The Seeker
Noel Gallagher? You know, I read your post and immediately thought of him or Liam, without knowing the song... I'm listening to it right now. It might even get my vote now. Yes I'm biased.

RonJonSurfer
This is one of my favourite Beach Boys songs. With all of their hits...I think this is an under-appreciated classic.
Jenny
Farin will be very proud of me. Here are two '90's nominations: One Headlight - The Wallfowers (1997) And since he's been a hot topic in the guilty pleasures thread, I thought Id rock the joint with a little Lenny: Are You Gonna Go My Way? - Lenny Kravitz (1993)

Jenny
That whole album (Bringing Down The Horse) is good. Good memories with that song, too. It's from the year hubby and I got engaged.

Rayzor
Here are my noms, as unpopular as they may be except for a select few Sister Christian - Night Ranger Guten Tag - Wir Sind Helden This one's German, but listen to it and you'll be involuntarily trying to sing along even though you can't understand a word (other than Farin!) CanAm
I decided to go with a big wad of bubblegum for 1972. There were lots of great songs in '72 (the year Joann and I got married) but I'm feeling light hearted this morning so here we go. How Do You Do-Mouth and MacNeal and.... It's So Nice To Be With You-Gallery Go ahead, scoff. But I bet you're singing along. Joe, I love both those songs. I think I may have nominated the Gallery song before, but it didn't do very well. I hope it makes the ten this time. Both of your selections will make my top ten.
Farin
Guten Tag - Wir Sind Helden This one's German, but listen to it and you'll be involuntarily trying to sing along even though you can't understand a word (other than Farin!) not only a German, but one of my favourite current bands too and for those who like to know what it's about (yes, it's very clever lyrics too) click here

CanAm
Lady Willpower - Gary Puckett & The Union Gap Fallin' In Love - Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds Joe's nominations made me nostalgic. My first girlfriend and I danced our first dance together to Fallin' In Love. In the late 1960's it seemed that you couldn't turn on the radio without hearing a Gary Puckett song. That boy had quite a set of pipes.
