22 Greatest Voices in Music

Recommended Posts

Tupac Shakur???? If they're going to include rap, it should be a separate list and not put them in with singers.

Steve Perry? Aretha Franklin? Marvin Gaye? Levi Stubbs from the Four Tops? Ann Wilson? Where are they?

Mariah has a good voice, but the best voice.....well, maybe if she focused more on using her vocal gifts than her....um...other gifts, she could be taken more seriously as a singer.

This list is a piece of s##t!!. Who was the one who made these decisions?!.

Why are Kurt Cobain, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and Celine Dion all above David Bowie, Robert Plant and Michael Jackson??. And that's just to name a few errors with this list.

I have a better suggestion for terminating those tin-eared ink slingers. Lock them in a room and play 24/7: Slim Whitman's Greatest Hits! (That should blow out their tiny brains posthaste.) :jester:

That list sucks--they're just taking people who are popular today. Any list that wouldn't include Ann Wilson or Stevie Nicks or Aretha Franklin is a list I can't get on board with.

JEWEL? Really, MTV and Blender?

Where is Ann Wilson?

Yes that was one voice that should have been listed. Also Dale Krantz, she started out as a backup singer for 38 Special and then the lead singer for The Rossington Collins Band. Very powerful gutsy and gritty voice. She reminded me of Janis Joplin, that in your face raw passion. Too bad she never tried to make it on her own, she just might have with the right people behind her talents.
