I feel that way about all music... once it's been done, leave it alone. If your band, group or whatever can't think of a song then find a new line of work! :tongue:

Compare Green Day's not bad cover of Working Class Hero with John Lennon's original ( bazooka-preferred).

"Not bad" is fair enough for the Green Day rendition, but it's not long in before you're thinking "Ok, I get the picture". For the definitive version of "Working Class Hero", (i.e. " even better than Lennon's" imo), check this: Marianne Faithful :bow: :bow: :bow:

It´s an amazing cover. I agree with you, far better than the original. I love the whole album, her new voice, how she came back to life and how she made me like this song I never liked in its original version.

I think I´ll nominate "Broken Eglish" for the MoC... :cool:

Joe I love both versions of this song. Each one is moving. I haven't heard Rita's in a long while, I think I have the album will have to take a look. Thanks for the reminder of a great song! :)
