Tenacious_Peaches
Marlon Brando passed away last week...big loss. He was great in "A Streetcar Named Desire", "On The Waterfront", and of course "The Godfather". He will be missed. Image link

MindCrime
My favorite film he was in was the 50's classic Julius Caesar, where he played Marc Anthony. They did a good job at recapturing the historical events, & he played that part with perfection.
Jenny
I think it was GMA that I heard that he really hated Hollywood and acting. He only acted when he needed money. Coppola had to beg the studio to let him hire Brando for "The Godfather" because his reputation was so bad by then.... He also started a trend. When he rips open (or off) his shirt in "Streetcar", revealing no T-shirt, men started wearing their shirts without a T shirt underneath. I loved him in Guys & Dolls RIP, Marlon
MarcM
Marlon was a big supporter of The Dairy Board. This support was evidenced by his early pioneer work doing product placement in movies, starting with the glamorization of the use of butter in "Last Tango In Paris."
