If ever you nominate it, I might have it in my top 10 (depending on the competition). This is a lot of praise from me. I don't care for new bands covering classics, but this is ok.

edna Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 I like both your nominatinos, Martin, I knew "Easy" and now I´ m listening to Blur... and depending on the other nominations it might get my vote... .cool: I can´t listen to music at 6 am, I´m not in the mood, besides I have to check emails and other stuff; then I´m working, then I´m out having lunch or home with the family, then my husband´s rehearsing in the office-room (yes, the house is small ) So I rarely can youtube and pay attention to what I hear before 6 or 7 in the evening...

It may get my vote, but it depends on the competition. "Beetlebum" was OK. It would be hard to cast a vote based on a first listen, so again, it would depend on the competition.

CanAm Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 Hey Phil!! I'm dating myself a little bit, but I really like Glen Campbell. I have several of his albums, but the one I like best is the one he did with Anne Murray. Their voices blended beautifully, with neither vocalist trying to outshine the other. Glen was an excellent vocalist and a very underrated guitarist.
