Farin
if I'd nominate Cochise ~ Audioslave I think I should get me some votes from Hard Rock fans of all ages... (AC/DC etc.)
c_s_1987
I'm not a big fan, but Cochise would probably get my vote.
TheLizard
I might vote for Cochise, but to me Audioslave is an example of a "supergroup" that turned out to be less than the sum of its parts. I'd be much more likely to vote for a Soundgarden or Rage song.
Tenacious_Peaches
I Know - Dionne Farris
Levis
I like Cochise... though I'm not a very big Audioslave fan (just a small one). Anyway, first nomination will probably be: Sex and Candy - Marcy Playground
The Seeker
You'll get my vote. I really like that song.
Tenacious_Peaches
What You Won't Do For Love - Bobby Caldwell I'm posting these videos only so I won't forget to nominate them and so I won't have to beg to be YouTubed when I get to work tomorrow. I really don't understand the point of this thread.
Farin
the original idea was to get people to listen/watch (for them) new songs, as they apperantly didn't in the Top Ten thread
Levis
You'll get my vote. I really like that song. Very good. Now all you 60s-70s-ers need to listen to Fin who likes the 60s and 70s and this song.
Tenacious_Peaches
That's reasonable, but if someone is too set in their ways, uninterested, or just plain lazy to explore all the nominations, then I couldn't care less if he or she votes for my songs. Then again, I am a raging beeyotch.
Farin
if it comes to this I'm still a bit idealistic and believe in the good in human...

Lucky
Anyway, first nomination will probably be: Sex and Candy - Marcy Playground Radhi!! I know it, I love it, you've already got my vote!! ( from an old 60's 70's lover! )
Levis
That's two... : cool : LISTEN to my song, all of you! please?
OLD 55
Sorry Radhi. I know it well. He sounds like the sort of grub I don't want hanging around my Grandaughter when she's older. Or anytime really. Peaches, I like that Dionne Farris song on first hearing; have to listen to it a few more times before I'd vote for it though. The link to your other one wouldn't work for me. Martin, Audioslave is a bit too metal for me.

Tenacious_Peaches
Peaches, The link to your other one wouldn't work for me. I fixed it, sugar. I'd normally post a grin here, but the new one is too serial killer for my liking.

OLD 55
Into The Night - Benny Mardones Please let me know what you think of this late 70s song. I know 16 is a bit young, but I think it is beautiful. Benny Mardones could have made it big except for Drug problems ! (Don't do drugs Kids !) When I met my hubby.....yeaaaaaaaars ago, this song would always be playing on the radio, and I would say "Oh I love this song!"....he didn't care for it too much, but I loved it...and then from then on he would tease me with....so what's Benny doing nowadays?...lol... good choice 55! Jenny
I love "Sex and Candy" and "I Know". "Show Them to me" is making my eyes tear up because if I guffaw too loud at work, I'll have to share and that wouldn't be kosher. Sorry, but I don't like "Into the Night". Not only are the lyrics a little pedophilia oriented, but he sounds constipated to boot.
Tenacious_Peaches
You know me too well, bluesy. Old Fitty, I love "Into the Night". I believe I nominated it once, to dismal results. Sure, it's a little gross now that I'm an adult, but I thought it was fantastic when it came out. I was 12 or 13 and thought it would be so romantical for an older guy to feel that way about me.
