The Songfactor's Choice Top Ten #58

Recommended Posts

Get Smart is my all time favorite T.V. comedy after the Phil Silvers (Sergeant Bilko) Show,

you might be interested to know that a big-screen version of "Get Smart" is on the horizon. Steve Carell (sp?) is playing Smart. He's a hysterically funny comedian, but I don't know how he's going to measure up to Don Adams. That guy was pretty special.

We'll look forward to that. Most times the big screen version just doesn't measure up to the TV show though. The Addams Family was an exception - can't think of too many others.

I agree with you that Don Adams was one of a kind, and really all the regular cast were great. We'd sit there just waiting for the cliched phrases. And loving it.
