Katie, phil had lots of info on the Shirelles "Will You Love Me Tomorrow", if you can use any of it !! :)

As for this week I'm going with two (gasp) 90's nominations! About as far apart in type and genre as you can get, but I like 'em.

Waterfalls ~ TLC (wonderful R&B , with a great message)

What Would You Say ~ Dave Matthews (probably my favorite 90's band)

" Eyes Without a Face " - Billy Idol ( a slim but partial chance this week based simply on the 'awareness' factor , if nothing else ... ) - rattle them bones ! :) Again , I'm hopin' BF's vote will pull this puppy over the top ! C'mon- love him or hate him - this song was well done and rocks !

Dude, I love this song and will absolutely vote for it. (Did I just call you dude? Sorry.) I remember thinking I was cool because I was taking French when this song came out and figured out that they were singing "les yeux sans visage" in the chorus. I am a dork of the highest order.

Anyhoo, here are my nominations. As always, I need to be YouTube'd, if possible.

Who Put the Bomp - Barry Mann

Down - 311

" I'm on a bus on a psychadelic trip reading murder books and trying to stay hip . Thinking of you - but you're out THERE -so ; say your prayers ... " - now those are hot lyrics . ( must be sung ' sneeringly ' LOL )

I saw Billy and the boys in 1985 in Calgary along with The Cult - what a show ! In my top 10 for sure !

" ...Well , we are big rock singers , we got golden fingers ..." :guitar:

Coincidently , they would also be on my Top 10 list . I saw them in a little dive in Saskatchewan in '84 . They were 2 hours late because they got hastled at the Montana border - go figure ! :) My # 2 , at least , for sure , so far !

What a great array of talent passed through this Group.

This was their first Big Hit, and it appears from the video that Graham Bonnet did the vocals. He later had solo Hits with 'Warm Ride' and my favorite Dylan cover 'It's All Over Now, Baby Blue'.

The other main vocalist in the Group was Ronnie James Dio who was "credited" with starting the  fingers/hand formation.

They're probably the two best vocalists that any heavy metal band could boast of. (Including either in AC/DC - sorry Ray).
