Have you ever seen the rain - Creedence Clearwater Revival

I was thinking today and remembered a song from a movie I had seen. I think it was a baseball movie, and the only thing I remember is teh chorus starts off with "IIIIII wanna know," and the singer asks a question. I thinks it's folk, and it sounds a bit like John Fogerty. I know its a long shot, and I going to keep looking, but any help would be great.

EDIT: I kept looking, and it turns out it was "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" by CCR. Weird how close I was.

I've heard more than one of Rod Stewart's attempts to sing certain classic songs. I'm reminded of another "Rod" who preferred to "sandpaper" his music instead of the works of others. So, it's "Rod McKuen Stewart" who's doing cabinet work until further notice.
