c_s_1987
[big]THE SECOND SONGFACTORS' CHOICE ULTIMATE TOP TEN - ROUND 4[/big] - No nominations are required, as the songs have been selected from our 25 top tens. - Voting rules will be exactly the same as the normal top tens - rank your favourite songs in the list from 1-10, and 10 points will be given to your number 1 song, 9 for number 2 etc. - We have decided to restrict eligibility to vote to only those people who have nominated or voted in at least one of our Top Tens. We think that's fair ! - We realised it would be ridiculous to expect people to come up with a top ten from all 250 songs, so I have seeded the songs and split them into fair groups. - The results will be announced in about a week from the start date of this thread. - This is Group 4 of 5, and this group contains 50 songs. I will then combine the five top tens together to form a group, and then we will vote on these songs to form the Ultimate Top Ten. Group 4: Along Comes Mary - The Association (1966) American Pie - Don McLean (1971) Anarchy In The U.K. - The Sex Pistols (1976) Bad Moon Rising - Creedence Clearwater Revival (1969) Ballad Of John And Yoko, The - The Beatles (1969) Because - The Beatles (1969) Bend Me, Shape Me - The American Breed (1964) Blister In The Sun - Violent Femmes (1983) Dixie Chicken - Little Feat (1973) Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker) - The Rolling Stones (1973) For Once in My Life - Stevie Wonder (1968) Gimme Some Lovin' - Spencer Davis Group (1966) Go Your Own Way - Fleetwood Mac (1977) Happy Xmas (War Is Over) - John Lennon (1971) Hey Jude - The Beatles (1968) Higher Ground - Stevie Wonder (1973) I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better - The Byrds (1965) I'm A Believer - The Monkees (1966) Imaginary Lover - Atlanta Rhythm Section (1976) Iron Man - Black Sabbath (1972) Istanbul (not Constantinople) - They Might Be Giants (1990) It never rains in Southern California - Albert Hammond (1972) Joy To The World - Three Dog Night (1971) Landslide - Fleetwood Mac (1975) Let It Bleed - The Rolling Stones (1969) Lido Shuffle - Boz Scaggs (1976) Maggie May - Rod Stewart (1971) Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) - The Beatles (1965) No Quarter - Led Zeppelin (1973) No Rain - Blind Melon (1993) Pride and Joy - Stevie Ray Vaughan (1983) Rikki Don't Lose That Number - Steely Dan (1974) Ring Of Fire - Johnny Cash (1963) Show Me The Way - Peter Frampton (1975) Smooth - Santana feat. miamisammy29
Man, that cat looks evil!...even moreso than our cat. And on a somewhat sadder note: We think our cat has eaten some of the tainted food that's been in the news for the last week or so. She hasn't shown any symptoms of it yet, and we're hoping she never will. Dammit, I've really grown to love that cat. She's wicked cool.
