Batman
Nine Inch Nails - Closer Beatles - Revolution #9 (to me at least) Dr. Octagon - A Visit to the Gynecologyst (this whole album is a bit disturbing, it's about a half-shark-half-man from another planet who travels to earth in order to pose a gynecologyst so he can take advantage of his patients. the real life rapper behind this project is actually a former mental patient. This song is particularly disturbing, and features disturbingly awesome scratching from DJ Qbert)

Elvish
Songs about rapists: Polly ~ Nirvana Date Rape ~ Sublime Tyler ~ The Toadies And she runs through her days with a smile on her face And she runs, and she waits, and I wait We can drive to anyplace, day or night, across the state And in the morning, into Mexico, we will wake up I find a window in the kitchen, and I let myself in Rummage through the refrigerator, find myself a beer I can't believe I'm really here, and she's lying in that bed I can almost feel her touch, and her anxious breath! I stumble in the hallway, outside the bedroom door I hear her call out to me, I hear the fear in her voice She pulls the covers tighter, I press against the door I will be with her tonight! Ken
I'd always found Alice Cooper's "Years Ago" "The Awakening" and "Steven" kinda creepy. "Cold Ethyl" however? Well, that's an awesome song.....
Lucky
As a teen, my boyfriend was into Bloodrock, a disturbing band, in and of itself. One of their songs, D.O.A. is particularly so. This was the early 70's, long before anything like this was in vogue. It's about someone involved in a plane crash... D.O.A ~ Bloodrock Laying here looking at the ceiling Someone lays a sheet across my chest Something warm is flowing down my fingers Pain is flowing all through my back I try to move my arms and there's no feeling And when I look I see there's nothing there The face beside me stopped it totally bleeding The girl I knew has such a distant stare I remember We were flying along and hit something in the air I remember We were flying along and hit something in the air Then I looked straight at the attendant His face is pale as it can be He bends and whispers something softly He says there's no chance for me I remember We were flying along and hit something in the air I remember We were flying along and hit something in the air Life is flowing out my body Pain is flowing out with my blood The sheets are red and moist where I'm lying God in Heaven, teach me how to die I remember We were flying along and hit something in the air I remember We were flying along and hit something in the air
_Laurie_
I thought of Bloodrock too Lucky...along with this one... Timothy The Buoys (Rupert Holmes) Trapped in a mine that had caved in And everyone knows the only ones left Were Joe and me and Tim When they broke through to pull us free The only ones left to tell the tale Were Joe and me Timothy, Timothy, where on earth did you go? Timothy, Timothy, God why don't I know? Hungry as hell no food to eat And Joe said that he would sell his soul For just a piece of meat Water enough to drink for two And Joe said to me, "I'll have a swig And then there's some for you." Timothy, Timothy, Joe was looking at you Timothy, Timothy, God what did we do? I must have blacked out just around then 'Cause the very next thing that I could see Was the light of the day again My stomach was full as it could be And nobody ever got around To finding Timothy Timothy... Shawna
yes, I remember that song! I'm wondering if "D.O.A." is the song I'm thinking of... I don't recognize the words, but was it a slow kind of haunting song where he sort of speak-sings? My disturbing song of the day is "Stinkfist." I don't care what it means metaphorically, and I've never heard it, but while auditing the lyrics on the site, I saw it and haven't gotten over it yet. It is DISTURBING. Foolonthehill
A friend of mine once told me a story about Revolution #9. He said that his girlfriend called him and said "Could you come over to my house? I'm listening to Revolution #9 and I'm really scared," or something like that. Its a really creepy song. Shawna
that's it! Wow, I haven't heard that song in over 30 years! I never even listened to the words before... but I remember the part about the blood seeping, and with our 9-10 year old brains we all thought it was the coolest. Levis
This may be disturbing to some. Dirty Frank - Pearl Jam (eats meat... eats meat... look out...) Dirty Frank Dahmer, he's a gourmet cook... Got a recipe for anglo-saxon soup. Wanted a pass, so she relaxed... Now the little groupie's getting chopped up in the back. Got a cupboard full of fleshy fresh ingredients. Very careful, at the same time quite expedient. Eats meat, a release... Bus driving's harder on your head than on your feet. Dirty frank! [4x] Keeps it clean, keeps it copasetic. The little boys and girls, their heads are all collected. Not crazy, per se...just a little strange when he gets hungry. City, state, your town, he will continue. Stadiums, tiny clubs, every venue. His bus, your trust...There goes another turned into crust. Dirty frank! [4x] (Watch it now... ) Why that dirty Frank was a bad mother... Shut your mouth! Hey man, I'm just talking about Dirty Frank! (cook... there those ******* kids are driving me crazy... ) Middle of the night, we're stopped, the freeway shoulder. Frank's shoveling to bury the leftovers. They're sunk...he's drunk. Now he's gonna drive, I'm hiding in my bunk. The band all knows, we're too afraid to mention. Don't want to be part of frank's luncheon. Lose weight, be safe... Where's Mike McCready? My god, he's been ate! Dirty Frank! [5x] Frank... [3x] Dirty Frank! [3x] (He's gone fruit loops... it's the perfect job) Cook 'em just to see the look on their face... Cook 'em just to see the look on their face. [10x] (Mommy, mommy, I'll just sing to my mommy... ) Why that Dirty Frank was a bad mother... Shut your mouth! Hey, I'm just talking about Dirty Frank! Dirty Frank! [3x] Why that Dirty Frank was a bad mother... Shut your mouth! Hey, I'm just talking about Dirty Frank! Dirty Frank! [11x] (OK, I think that's enough...)
