There was a song ( I thought Paul Anka sang it ) that had the lyrics " Come bring the wine " does anyone know who did sing it or the real name of the song ?

I remember it in the early 70's....

Well, Steel Guitars and a Glass of Wine " was not the song, thanks logan but still looking I guess...

I know that the melody in the song has those lyrics " Come bring the wine " it was a very slow, sexy song as I remember, if that helps...

Suggestions would be appreciated...

I joined this message-board just to answer your question. It's because I too love this song. They don't make 'em like that anymore...

Anyway, 'nuff mush. The song is BRING THE WINE by Paul Anka, and has been sung by him as a solo, and also as a duet with Mireille Mathieu. The lyrics go thusly:
