Red Fish Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 Grrr... those Girl Scout brownies were dry and somewhat stale. Next time I'll just save myself the trouble and buy a Girl Scout to bake me REAL brownies.
CanAm Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 My wife and I just finished dinner. We had baked chicken breasts with pear/sage chutney, wild rice pilaf and green beans almandine. Since I'm on vacation this week, I got to prepare dinner. I nearly fell over when I found fresh green beans in the grocery store today. Since the big freeze in California, the selection of vegetables has declined dramatically while the price has gone up dramatically. We have put a considerable dent in a bottle of Bollingers non-vintage champagne. The pumpkin valentine cupcakes I made were a big hit with the kids, aa was the non-alcoholic sparkling cider.
Kevin Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 Iberico jambon , sliced tomatoes with olive oil , olives and mozzarella , and a glass of fine sherry - heaven !
Uncle Joe Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 Of course, it probably helps if both halves of a couple eat it so they are sort of "immune" to the smell Elvy, you're flirting with a banning. Tsk, tsk. LOL
