MuzikTyme
Astonishing! I'm having slow-cooked navy beans with buttermilk cornbread and a slice of Smithfield ham baked w/pineapple and honey-mustard glaze with a huge glass of milk. (ham makes me thirsty) probably split pea That's what I thought came out of Linda Blair's mouth in, "The Exorcist."

MuzikTyme
In my neck-of-the-woods we call that, "Elephant's ears." It's a lot to eat much less the sugar and dough which ensues. Coffee is good as long as it's fresh-ground-roast pure Columbian.

_Laurie_
What are cardoons? Like macaroons? I had rice krispies and a cup of peppermint coffee. No Shannon, they are related to the artichoke family...it's stalks that are dipped in egg and flour and fried.....
